LCK 2026 Regular Season Day 22: Gen.G Narrowly Survives a Scare
Many have written KRX off early on in the LCK. They had a resurgent LCK Cup, but have struggled in Round 1. They almost gave themselves some hope with a victory over Gen.G Esports; however, they fell short. FearX could not compete with Dplus KIA because of roster changes. They will need to rebuild moving forward if they hope to qualify for the Road to MSI.
Gen.G Esports Versus KRX

Game One – Demolition Victory
Gen.G did everything to ensure Lazyfeel and Andil could not play the game. Andil had four deaths at the fifteen-minute mark. KRX barely had any space to work with in this game. Andil’s first Flash allowed them to kill Ruler and Duro in the third Drake fight, but it was too late. The Gen.G tank kept on rolling until they stormed to a victory in game one.
Game Two – Willer Leading the Charge
Willer led KRX’s early game. He caught Gen.G for the First Blood kill and dived the bot lane to give Lazyfeel a kill. Then he showed up to counter-gank minutes later and picked up three kills for himself. The mid-game is bloody with KRX picking up most of the kills. Chovy tries his best to recover in the late game. He is the engage point on Akali. He carries multiple fights, but it only keeps the game even. Canyon engages before Chovy arrives, and KRX crushes the fight to win the game.
Game Three – Unplayable KRX Draft
Andil had a rough game three. However, that is not his fault, given the situation he had to play in. Nautilus into Trundle is unplayable in most situations. He did what he could, but KRX fell behind. The Shen from Rich also lacked the required impact, while Kiin built a lead in isolation. He became unkillable, giving Gen.G the space to dismantle KRX.

FearX Versus Dplus KIA

Game One – Slayer’s Debut
After the Diable drama, Slayer made his debut appearance in the LCK. He had an early lead, playing Lucian into Zeri. That lead did not last, however, as DK started to take control of the game. The control came off the back of Lucid’s Lee Sin. Slayer had a decent debut and was not the reason why BFX lost the first game. There were some happy gaming moments for DK, but ultimately, they got the game one victory.
Game Two – BFX Make Empty Plays
Every play that BFX makes in game two does not result in any lead. Despite getting kills, they never appear to be in control of the game. That becomes a problem once DK gets into the game. Every fight is comfortably in their favor as they close out the series.

An Uncomfortable Victory for Gen.G
The LCK regular season has been uncharted territory for Gen.G so far. Not only have they lost three series, but dropping a game to a team like KRX is unheard of. We all thought Gen.G were back to their dominant ways. But today proved they still have a way to go to return to their peak. Chovy did everything he could to keep Gen.G ahead, and he almost helped them recover in game two.
FearX Needs to Rebuild
Diable leaving comes at the worst time for BFX. Having struggled in the LCK regular season, they did not need a rebuild. But that is what they have to deal with. They had a valiant effort with Slayer in the roster. Slayer was not even the worst player on his team. Raptor is struggling to find his footing since returning from First Stand.
