One Talking Point for Each LCK Team

KT Rolster – Still On Top
Four weeks have now passed, and the KT train continues to push forward. KT has never looked like losing since their victory over Gen.G in week one. They face a stern test next week against the other best team in the LCK regular season.
Hanwha Life Esports – Hunting KT Down
HLE lost their first series of the LCK. However, since then, they have grown from strength to strength. They had a scare against a strong NS team, but emerged with the win. They now have their sights set on KT next week.
Gen.G Esports – A Gen.G Classic Performance
LCK Gen.G has been a fearsome foe in past years. They not only win almost every series, but they do so in a dominant fashion. That has not been the case in this regular season. Their win over NS showed glimpses of what this team is capable of.
T1 – A Whirldwind Home Ground
T1 and their fans were treated to an experience this past weekend. Three of the four games went to the late game and could have gone either way. T1 came out on top. They also announced Keria’s re-signing with T1 for an additional three years.
Dplus KIA – Proving They Belong
DK, along with T1 and Gen.G, achieved their first 2-0 weeks of the LCK regular season. They controlled their series against BRO and DNS, proving that this team can go places this season. There is all to play for, with them being tied third with T1 and Gen.G.
Nongshim Redforce – Mysterious Performances
NS tested HLE this week. They had them on the ropes, but usual mistakes proved costly. Then, in their series against Gen.G, they almost rolled over in defeat. They could not stand up to Gen.G’s force, and questions remain about this roster.
FearX – Troubles Afoot
BFX find themselves in a bad position at 2-6 in the standings. It only gets worse with Diable sent down to the LCK CL. BFX is punishing him for missing a fan meet and for his overall bad attitude behind the scenes. It could not get worse for the First Stand representatives.
KRX – A Shade of The LCK Cup
KRX performed impressively in the LCK Cup. But since the LCK has started, KRX has not reached those levels. They are unlikely to compete for a spot in the Road to MSI, unless something drastic happens.
HANJIN BRION – Not Going Down Without a Fight
BRO pushed T1 to the brink in their series. They forced them into two forty-minute banger games. Yes, T1 made mistakes, but BRO were ready to catch them. Better performances under pressure could have seen an upset victory.
DN SOOPers – What Next From Here
Nothing is working for DNS at the moment. Quantum subbing in for Peter has not altered the team’s fortunes. However, the blame should not go to him. The team is slumping, and there seems to be no way out. They could finish in last place again.
