LCK 2026 Regular Season Day 20: T1 and Gen.G’s First Perfect LCK Week

LCK 2026 Regular Season Log

T1 and Gen.G had a chance to finish the fourth LCK week tied for third. They would join Dplus KIA at 5-3 in the standings. Both teams emerged victors, winning 2-0. T1’s series started well, but got shakier in the second game. Gen.G had control almost from start to finish as they dismantled Nongshim Redforce. The two teams will keep a close eye on the match between KT Rolster and Hanwha Life Esports next week.

T1 Versus FearX

Game One – Convincing Victory

T1’s early game focus was the bot lane. Peyz picked up two early kills to build a gold lead despite the farm deficit. Oner continued to play around Peyz and Keria while Doran won in isolation. BFX’s only successful target was Faker. The mid-game exploded as T1 picked up multiple Drakes and Towers. The only blip until the end of the game was Doran’s underestimating Daystar’s damage and dying. With Baron at their backs, T1 ended the game.

Game Two – BFX Fight Back

The game started horribly for BFX with Peyz and Keria picking up another 2v2 kill. The game was falling out of their grasp until solo kills from Daystar and Clear. A teleport play from Clear stunted T1’s bot lane. The next few minutes went from bad to worse for T1. Every play went sideways. Daystar and Clear became problems for T1 and Peyz. BFX gave over some of their lead with a Baron call. They secured the objective, but everyone died in the ensuing fight.

The late-game became all about Peyz. If he died, T1 would lose; if he lived, T1 would stomp. The game went to multiple Barons and six Drakes. Daystar made one last Hail Mary to kill Peyz. He succeeded, but Faker was online at that stage and helped T1 over the line.

Gen.G Esports Versus Nongshim Redforce

Gen.G also achieved their first 2-0 LCK week by beating NS

Game One – A Spongey Lead

NS wrestles control away from Gen.G in the early game. Much of NS’s lead comes from Sponge’s plays, and he has all the kills. However, it takes one fight for Gen.G to turn the tables. NS is second-best in the ensuing teamfights, and Gen.G runs away with the win. Sponge denies the Soul with a Smite battle, but it merely delays the inevitable.

Game Two – NS Routed

There are not many kills in the early game. Despite that, Gen.G soars to a gold lead through lane advantages. They have a 5k gold lead with only one kill on the board. NS tries to punish Ruler in the mid-lane, but the chase takes a while. Kiin dies trying to protect his AD Carry, and the rest of Gen.G arrives. Chovy kills two before dying, and the lead grows until Gen.G closes out the game.

Worrying And Positive Signs

T1 is slowly building their understanding of the meta. Oner is playing around the bot lane, and it is paying off. Peyz and Keria’s form is carrying T1 over the line. However, there is one worrying factor: Faker. He has looked shaky all of LCK, and this weekend was even worse. He struggled on Azir twice this weekend. It could be one of those periods where Faker’s form dips before it rises again.

Another Day At the Office

Gen.G has not been at their best in the LCK regular season. The series against NS was a step in the right direction. They took control in game one after Sponge’s early lead and never let go. They will tie with T1 and Dplus KIA in third place heading into the final game of Round 1.
