LCK 2026 Round 4 Week 13 Preview: Important Places Up For Grabs in the Final Week
Three LCK teams in each group have yet to secure their positions for the post-season. T1, Dplus KIA and KT Rolster will feature in the post-season, but they are fighting for the final two playoff spots. In the Rise Group, FearX, Nongshim Redforce and KRX are looking to secure the final two Play-In spots. Most of the positions could be secured after two days of matches.
LCK Week 13 Predictions
Gen.G Esports Versus KT Rolster
Prediction: Gen.G 2-0
Everything is pointing towards a Gen.G victory in this series. That is usually when KT is most dangerous. They will need another upset to keep their hopes alive. A 2-0 loss for KT will see them relegated to the Play-Ins.
HANJIN BRION Versus DN SOOPers
Prediction: DNS 2-1
DN SOOPers are currently the most in-form team in the LCK Rise Group. Against a shaky HANJIN BRION, they should have the advantage. A win for BRO is vital to give themselves the best chance to secure first place in the Rise Group.
Dplus KIA Versus Hanwha Life Esports
Prediction: DK 2-1
Of the two teams, DK looks more stable. With no guarantee of the starting support, HLE’s form is up in the air. Even the win over KT showed concerning signs, as they fell in game one to another struggling team.
Nongshim Redforce Versus KRX
Prediction: NS 2-0
A win for NS in this series will secure the three Play-In spots. While the three teams will need to compete for seeding, KRX will be out of contention. NS was victorious in their previous meeting, and that should be the case again.
HANJIN BRION Versus FearX
Prediction: BFX 2-1
Predicting which team will show up better on the day is difficult. Neither team has been consistent in the Rise Group. That means the result of the series could go either way. The winner of this series will also have a leg up on finishing in first place.
KT Rolster Versus T1
Prediction: T1 2-1
If KT beat Gen.G, this series will carry a lot of weight. However, the likelihood is that KT will resoundingly lose. T1 must look to win this series to recover some momentum heading into the post-season and matchup with HLE later this week.
Dplus KIA Versus Gen.G Esports
Prediction: Gen.G 2-0
Whenever Gen.G is firing on all cylinders, DK can never get past them. They seem to be a roadblock for DK. While DK has shown signs of brilliance, it is not consistent enough to beat an in-form Gen.G in a series.
DN SOOPers Versus KRX
Prediction: DNS 2-0
Another case of DNS being in-form. KRX has not found their footing with Aiming in their roster, and DNS is hungry enough to take them down. KRX will likely see their hopes of Play-Ins dashed before this. If that is the case, KRX will have nothing to play for.
Hanwha Life Esports Versus T1
Prediction: HLE 2-1
Two teams that do not have a set roster. While Oner played both series at their home ground, he could lose his spot after failing to impress. Bluffing took Delight’s spot again and had a decent performance. The result of this series could be decided by how the teams play earlier in the week.
FearX Versus Nongshim Redforce
Prediction: BFX 2-1
The two Rise Group teams with the highest peak will face off in the final week. However, neither has been good enough in the Rise Group to be considered the best. That should result in a close series between the two. The rivalry between Diable and Taeyoon should be on show once again.
Post-Season Around the Corner
The post-season will begin next week with a handful of Play-Ins and Playoffs matches. There are three Play-In matches to kick off the week. The weekend will feature two matches from Round 1 of the playoffs. In four weeks, we will have the LCK winner.
