LCK 2026 Regular Season Week 5: A Titanic Battle At the Top

After four weeks of matches, KT Rolster and Hanwha Life Esports have set themselves apart from the rest. They sit in first and second in the LCK, respectively. In their final game of Round 1, they will face off in a pivotal encounter. A win for KT will set them up for success for the rest of the LCK regular season. If HLE wins, they will tie with KT in first place.

Nongshim Redforce Versus T1

Prediction: T1 2-1

Both teams have been consistently inconsistent in the LCK regular season. T1 has looked the better of the two teams and should be favored. Keria is in peak form, and he could be the decider once again for T1.

KT Rolster Versus Hanwha Life Esports

Prediction: KT 2-1

Both teams have looked nearly unbeatable in the LCK so far. Either could be the victor in this series. Ultimately, we give the nod to KT because they are undefeated, and HLE struggled against NS last week.

Gen.G Esports Versus KRX

Prediction: Gen.G 2-0

Even on their best day, KRX will struggle to match up to the likes of Gen.G in a series. Gen.G is slowly regaining their best form. The series against KRX should be another step towards the top.

FearX Versus Dplus KIA

Prediction: DK 2-0

To beat DK, BFX would need something special. That usually comes from Diable. However, the young AD Carry will not play for his team due to poor discipline. DK should run away with the victory.

DN SOOPers Versus HANJIN BRION

Prediction: BRO 2-1

A battle between the two 1-7 teams. Of the two, BRO has looked the most likely to win a series against other teams. Unless DNS has a significant turnaround, they could find themselves in last place after this match.

Hanwha Life Esports Versus T1

Prediction: HLE 2-1

The first time these two teams met in the regular season, T1 were the victors. It is the only blemish on HLE’s record so far. Since then, HLE has been on the rise, while T1 has stumbled. HLE should have the advantage, but T1 can always rise to the occasion.

Gen.G Esports Versus Dplus KIA

Prediction: Gen.G 2-1

Predicting anyone but Gen.G in a regular-season match always feels like a mistake. They have not been as strong so far, but they can always outperform everyone. DK got the better of them last time, but that is unlikely to happen again.

KRX Versus Nongshim Redforce

Prediction: NS 2-0

This prediction could backfire, just like it did in their previous meeting. Besides that win for KRX, there is little indicating they should win again. But the inconsistency for NS could rear its head one more time.

KT Rolster Versus HANJIN BRION

Prediction: KT 2-0

KT demolished BRO in their first meeting of the LCK. Unless KT capitulates from a loss against HLE, it should be the same result in this match. BRO has shown signs of competence, but they pale in comparison to KT at the moment.

DN SOOPers Versus FearX

Prediction: BFX 2-1

It is the perfect time for DNS to play against BFX. Without Diable in the lineup, BFX is significantly weaker. However, DNS’s current form does not indicate they can even take advantage of BFX not having Diable in the lineup. If they lose to BRO and BFX, that could spell the end for DNS in the LCK this year.
