The Monument of Triumph in Destiny 2

The Monument of Triumph update for Destiny 2 is the last. As a result, there is a whole host of sandbox changes coming on June 9th. We have a couple of articles covering all the new sandbox changes. In this article, we will cover the changes coming to the Legendary Sandbox, including the legendary perks. A reminder, all crafted weapons will upgrade to tiered gear in the new Destiny 2 update.

Destiny 2: Legendary Weapon Sandbox Updates

Primary Ammo Weapons

  • Legendaries
    • Increased damage against minor combatants by 30%
  • Exotics
    • Increased bonus damage against minor combatants from 30% to 40%
  • Non-blaster Primaries
    • Increased damage against major combatants by 15%
  • Blaster Primaries
    • Increased bonus damage against major combatants from 15% to 20%

Special Ammo Weapons

  • Increased damage against major combatants by 20%
    • Excludes: Snipers, Rocket Pulses, Rocket Sidearms, Swords, and Choir of One)

Auto Rifles

  • High Impact
    • Moved to 400 RPM from 360
    • Reduced ADS Damage Falloff scalar from 1.7 to 1.6
    • Reduced base damage from 24 to 22
    • Applies to Vex Mythoclast and Dual Speed Receiver Suoros Regime
      • Does not include Cerberus+1 and non-spun-up Sweet Business
  • Adaptive
    • Increased base damage from 15 to 15.5
    • Increased critical hit damage from 26.25 to 27.1

Pulse Rifles

  • Lightweight
    • Reduced base damage from 19.7 to 18.8
    • Reduced critical hit damage from 26.5 to 27.1
  • Legacy Frame
    • Increased ADS Damage Falloff Scalar from 1.6 back to 1.7
  • High Impact
    • Increased ADS Damage Falloff Scalar from 1.6 back to 1.7

Scout Rifles

  • Rapid Fire
    • Reduced base damage from 28 to 27.3
    • Reduced critical hit damage from 54.6 to 53.25

Hand Cannons

  • Aggressive
    • Reduced base damage from 49 to 48.7
    • Reduced critical hit damage from 90.65 to 90.1

Bows

  • Increased damage against minor combatants by an additional 20%
  • Increased damage against major combatants by an additional 40%

Rocket Sidearms

  • Increased projectile explosion radius by 33%

Fusion Rifles

  • Rapid Fire
    • Increased PvE Damage Scalar by 7%
  • Adaptive
    • Increased PvE Damage Scalar by 10%
  • Precision
    • Increased PvE Damage Scalar by 10%
  • High Impact
    • Increased PvE Damage Scalar by 15%

Shotguns

  • Aggressive
    • Increased PvE Damage Scalar by 15%
    • Improved Felwinter’s Lie base stats
  • Lightweight
    • Increased PvE Damage Scalar by 15%

Rocket Pulse Rifles

  • Reduced the Ammo Generation stat by 15
  • Decreased PvE damage by 10%
  • Decreased damage vs bosses by 25%
  • Reduced projectile explosion radius by 25%
  • Reduced Super Generation by 25% for roaming supers and 33% for standard super

Heavy Grenade Launchers

  • Increased damage against bosses and champions by 5%

Rocket Launchers

  • Increased damage against bosses and champions by 5%

Crossbows

  • Increased damage versus bosses and champions by 10%

Linear Fusion Rifles

  • Increased the damage of legendary LFR against bosses and champions by 10%
  • Precision
    • Increased PvE Damage Scalar by 10%
    • Increased ammo reserves by ~30%
      • Does not include Sleeper Simulant

Machine Guns

  • Increased Bitter End’s reserve ammo

Swords

  • Decreased the cost of heavy attacks from Vortex Frame swords from six to four.

Destiny 2: Legendary Perk Changes

Focused Fury

  • Damage bonus increased from 20% to 25%
  • The hits required decreased form 50% of the magazine to 35%

Full Court

  • Maximum explosive damage bonus increased from 25% to 35%

Lasting Impression

  • Explosive damage bonus from 25% to 35%

Reservoir Burst

  • Damage bonus increased from 25% (27.5% enhanced) to 30% (33% enhanced)

Gutshot Straight

  • Reduced the aim assist penalty
    • 20% for base
    • 25% for enhanced
  • Fixed a bug that caused the perk to not work on Bitter End

Adagio

  • Reduced the damage bonus on Hand Cannons from 30% to 27%
  • Increased the damage bonus on Shotguns and Bows from 20% to 30%

Collective Action, Collective Pugilism, Cooling Baubles, Elemental Charge, and Facet of Honor

  • All share the Tangle activator
  • Collective Action and Collective Pugilism gain additional time if you throw a tangle.
  • Artifact Elemental Orbs count as elemental pickups.
  • Fixed an issue where arc orbs would give dark Transcendence energy with Facet of Honor

Collective Action

  • Firesprites and Void Breaches
    • Eight Seconds
  • Ionic Traces and Stasis Shards
    • Four seconds
  • Tangle Throw
    • Four Seconds
  • The damage bonus against PvE combatants increased from 20% to 30%
    • Enhanced benefit grants increased damage bonus (33% against combatants, 11% against players)
  • Max time increased from 12 to 16 seconds

All-Star

  • Damage timer paused on weapon stow and resumed when you equip the weapon

Desperado

  • Desperado can also activate when reloading after three rapid kills

Frenzy

  • Fixed an issue that caused the Enhanced version not to get the extended duration
  • Fixed an issue where an inactive Frenzy prevented the functioning of the Crucible origin trait.

Jolting Feedback

  • Reduced shots needed by ~1/2 for Scout Rifles and Hand Cannons

Encore

  • HUD Buff displays a timer

Envious Assassin

  • Fixed an issue causing the perk not to work on some single-shot weapons

Cascade Point

  • Auto Rifles, Pulse Rifles, SMGs, Trace Rifles, LMGs
    • Six critical hits
  • Hand Cannons, Scout Rifles
    • Four critical hits
  • Bows, LFRs, Glaive projectiles, Shotguns, Sniper Rifles
    • Two critical hits

Attrition Orbs

  • Activates in four hits on Wave Frame Grenade Launchers, was ten
  • Activates in three hits on Rocket Launchers, was six

Contending Cascade

  • The number of rapid final blows needed for maximum benefits
    • Reduced from 15 (12 at enhanced) to 12 (10 at enhanced)
  • Stat benefits maxed out with elemental explosion instead of scaling with up to 20 rapid final blows

Full Choke

  • The pellet spread reduced by 5%, was 3.25%

Shot Package intrinsic

  • Reduced pellet spread by 2.5% when ADS

Advanced Reflexes

  • 5% damage bonus while active
  • Increased bonus handling from 30 to 40
  • Increased bonus charge rate for Swords from 20 to 35

Gun and Run

  • Defeating targets builds Gun and Run stacks for a short duration. Sprinting for a short time consumes a stack and partially reloads this weapon’s magazine from reserves; on Bows, this briefly improves draw speed.

Nanotech Tracer Missiles

  • Reduced the number of hits needed for Basso Ostinatio by ~1
