The Monument of Triumph in Destiny 2

Originally, when Bungie announced the Monument of Triumph update, they mentioned one Exotic Weapon. A couple of weeks later, they teased an Exotic Linear Fusion Rifle. Then, when Destiny 2 players explored the update, they found an Exotic Mission that gave another Exotic Mission. In total, the three new Exotic Weapons have their own catalysts, which are obtainable for free for everyone.

Cull’s Shadow drops from the Exotic Mission Oblation: Bloodline. It is a Kinetic Fusion Rifle. You can earn additional catalysts for it from the other Oblation missions. You can read through our guide on how to get all the catalysts. Cull’s Shadow has its own melee and counts as a Weapon of Sorrow.

Soulbourn – Intrinsic Trait

Final blows or rapid hits with this weapon’s frontal blades heal you and provide Soulfire Charges, which cause rounds fired by this weapon to inflict potent corruption. These frontal blades deal increased damage to targets afflicted by corruption.

Soulforge – Perk

Targets afflicted by corruption from Soulfire Charges coalesce into soulfire crystals when defeated. Crystals detonate in a damaging radius when destroyed.

Soulfire Succor – Catalyst #1

Destroying soulfire crystals with this weapon’s frontal blades provides Soulfire Charges and partially reloads the magazine from reserves.

Soulfire Rancor – Catalyst #2

Soulfire crystals expel potent corruption when destroyed and automatically detonate when a target is within proximity.

Soulfire Zeal – Catalyst #3

Nearby Soulfire crystal detonations increase your damage resistance and movement speed while equipping the weapon.

Soulfire Skewer – Catalyst #4

Nearby soulfire crystal detonations cause this weapon’s frontal blades to inflict corruption.

Fafnir Exotic Void Linear Fusion Rifle

Fafnir is a Void Heavy Linear Fusion Rifle with a special capability. Destiny 2 players can purchase the Fafnir Exotic Linear Fusion Rifle from the Tenet of Bravery Statue in the tower. You will need Legendary Marks to purchase it. It is the second Heavy Weapon with a 30% weaken, alongside Tractor Cannon.

Quantum Nova – Intrinsic Trait

Consume a portion of this weapon’s reserves to over-pressurize it, causing it to Weaken targets for a short time. This effect’s duration scales with the amount of ammo consumed and is paused while holstered.

Subatomic Distortion – Perk

Fires projectiles made of compressed quantum particles that decompress within targets after a short delay, lacerating them.

Over-pressurizing this weapon with Quantum Nova releases a detonation around you.

No Distractions – Catalyst

Aiming this weapon for a short period reduces flinch.

Turncoat Exotic Void Hand Cannon

Turncoat is an Exotic Void Hand cannon from the Season Pass. Players with the paid version earn it at level 1, while players without the pass must wait until level 70. The catalyst unlocks at 90 in the pass. The Hand Cannon can turn into the same archetype as Last Word with its Exotic perk.

Latent Power – Intrinsic Trait

Dealing damage builds Latent Power; precision hits and final blows build more. At full power, hold [Alternate Weapon Action] to trigger Unleashed Power, empowering the weapon with increased rate of fire and hip-fire accuracy and causing shots to weaken targets. After a short time, it becomes Overwhelming Power, which deals damage to you over time. Reload or stow the weapon to end these effects.

Power Surge – Perk

Rapid hits charge your next shot into an explosive round that deals additional damage and accelerates power buildup on hit. While empowered, every shot is explosive.

Void Mastery – Catalyst

When empowerment ends, you gain a Void Overshield, the strength of which depends on how long you were empowered.
