Teamfight Tactics Set 18 Enchanted Wilds Info
Enchanted Wilds is the next set in the chain for Teamfight Tactics. It goes live on PBE tomorrow. One significant change for this set is that the PBE cycle is four weeks instead of two. It is to allow for testing of the new Teamfight Tactics engine. Set 18 sees the return of the Set 12 Mechanic, charms, but in a new light. For Set 18, they are called Wisps.
Wisps, the Set 18 Mechanic
For those of you who did not play Set 12, or have forgotten the mechanic, we have you covered. Wisps appear in your shops, with a varying degree of power. Some Wisps grant gold; others give stats. Most Wisps only last for one combat round, especially if they are stat-related. Wisps will appear in every second shop and take up a shop spot. Most Wisps cost gold; the more expensive a Wisp, the more value that you can gain.
The more expensive Wisps only appear in later rounds. If you do not like your Wisp, you can reroll your shop to find a better one. The Blossom trait will empower your Wisps with benefits like: having Wisps appear every shop, gaining gold from Wisps, or buying a second Wisp. Think of Wisps as a mini augment that can empower your boards in various ways.

There are sixty-five champions in Set 18, up from sixty-three in the previous set.

There are fourteen one-cost champions. Three of those one-costs are TFT exclusive, with some appearing as Jungle Camps in Summoner’s Rift.

Set 18 Dates
Set 18 will go live on PBE tomorrow. It will stay on PBE for four weeks for testing. Throughout this time, numbers around champions, augments, traits, Wisps, and more will change as players get a chance to test everything for Set 18. Players will also get a first glimpse into the new Engine before the set goes live. Set 18 will hit live servers on August 26th, a month after the set’s PBE release.
