The Enchanted Wilds Set 18 Teamfight Tactics

Set 18 for Teamfight Tactics goes live next week. The official release date is August 26th. It has been on the PBE for the past three weeks. After a shaky start, the new engine has settled. With the release approaching, we wanted to go deeper into everything you need to know about the new set. First up are the Origin traits for Teamfight Tactics Set 18: Enchanted Wilds.

Teamfight Tactics Set 18 Origin Traits

Apex Predator – Elder Dragon only.

Elder Dragon takes up two team slots and grants +2 to the Riftbeast trait.

Attuned – Alune only.

Your strongest Alune cycles to a new moon phase after each cast. While the moon is at or below half full, your team gains Durability. While above, your team gains Damage Amp.

Avatar – Lux only.

Having an Avatar on your bench or board transforms all other Avatars in your shop to the Avatar’s Trait. An Avatar’s chosen Traits is counted twice for Trait bonuses.

  • Blackthorn
  • Blossom
  • Coven
  • Elderwood
  • Fae
  • Inferno
  • Lunar
  • Primal
  • Solar

Blackthorn

At combat start, sacrifice your ally on the Blackthorn Hex. The sacrificed ally grants your team Health. Blackthorn champions gain additional stats based on the sacrifice’s Role, Star Level, and cost. Each breakpoint increases the stats gained, and at Six, the ally survives. There are six Blackthorn champions:

  • Rek’Sai
  • Veigar
  • Warwick
  • Azir
  • Malphite
  • Lux

Blossom

Empower your Wisps after combat. Blossom champions gain Attack Damage, Ability Power, and max Health based on Blossom Breakpoints. Each breakpoint increases the Wisp value:

  • Wisps in every shop
  • Gain gold after buying a Wisp
  • You can buy 2 wisps per round
  • Wisps overflow with power

There are eight Blossom champions:

  • Karma
  • Yorick
  • Yunara
  • Master Yi
  • Ahri
  • Sett
  • Ashe
  • Lux

Bounty Seeker – Draven only.

Choose a bounty. Your strongest Draven can progress on the bounty to earn its reward. Upon completing a bounty, choose another.

Caustic – Applies to Kog’Maw only.

Caustic units’ damage Shred and Sunder enemies.

Coven

Gather Essence by killing champions or by losing player combat. At various Essence breakpoints, you can choose to continue gathering Essence or cash out. Higher Essence equates to better rewards. Each breakpoint increases the Essence gained from kills and losses. There are six Coven champions:

  • Camille
  • Caitlyn
  • Elise
  • Cassiopeia
  • Morgana
  • Lux

Eclipse

After 10 seconds of combat, the Eclipse kills the lowest-health enemy, repeating every 4 seconds. Only activates with three Solar and three Lunar units on board.

Elderwood

Gain placeable Elderwood plants. Plants gain Max Health and Ability Power per Elderwood Star Level. There are three types of plants:

  • Stonebark Tree – Stuns the two closest enemies when Stonebark Tree dies.
  • Lifebloom – Grants Ability Power and Attack Damage periodically through combat.
  • Deepwood Protector – Gains Health and Attack Speed on Elderwood ally death, knocks up and stuns targets with its ability.

There are eight Elderwood champions:

  • Ornn
  • Xayah
  • Alistar
  • LeBlanc
  • Hecarim
  • Ezreal
  • Gnar
  • Lux

Emerald Aspect – Taric only.

Drag an ally onto your strongest Taric to pair them, granting a shield to the ally and nearby allies if Taric or the ally falls below 50% Health.

Fae

Your team’s damage, healing, and shielding attract Pixies. Each Pixie grants Fae champions Attack Damage and Ability Power. After falling below 50% Health, Fae champions heal based on the number of Pixies. At 4 Fae and 7 Pixies attracted, gain gold from Golden Pixies after combat. There are five Fae champions:

  • Rakan
  • Xayah
  • Tristana
  • Lillia
  • Lux

Flora Fatalis

Flora Fatalis champions harvest enemies on takedown. They gain Mana or heal the lowest-Health ally. There are two Flora Fatalis champions:

  • Fiddlesticks
  • Soraka

Greenfather – Ivern only.

Gain 1 seed when your strongest Ivern casts, plus 4 for every combat. Ivern uses 5 seeds to grow a hex on your board that grants a bonus to its occupant. Various bonuses are:

  • Health
  • Armor and MR
  • Attack Speed
  • Mana Regen
  • Damage Amp

Inferno

Inferno damage Burns and Wounds enemies. Inferno Burns stack with other Burns. The burn increases at various breakpoints. At three Inferno, one of your shop slots becomes ignited, rolling a champion into a higher tier. Additional breakpoints increase the number of shop slots. There are six Inferno champions:

  • Akali
  • Varus
  • Shen
  • Amumu
  • Kennen
  • Lux

Lunar

Lunar champions and adjacent allies gain Attack Speed and Ability Power. Lunar champions gain 100% more. Each breakpoint grants additional stats. There are four Lunar champions:

  • Diana
  • Aphelios
  • Alune
  • Lux

Old Growth – Maokai only.

Whenever an enemy within 3 hexes dies, gain permanent max Health.

Primal

Choose one of four Primal blessings. At four Primal, you gain an additional blessing. The four blessings are:

  • Max Health heal in combat.
  • Additional Attack Speed.
  • Percent Health Execution
  • Additional components gained for takedowns.

There are four Primal champions:

  • Vi
  • Nidalee
  • Sivir
  • Lux

Riftbeast

Gain an Alpha Mark to trigger a unique buff to a Riftbeast unit. Additional breakpoints grant more bonuses:

  • Every 3 combats, overrun your next shop with Riftbeasts
  • On combat start and periodically, grant Attack Damage, Ability Power, Attack Speed, Armor, Magic Resist, Health, and Mana Regen.
  • +2 Maximum team size.

There are nine Riftbeast champions:

  • Cinderling
  • Pebbles
  • Gromp
  • Murk Wolf
  • Scuttle Crab
  • Krug
  • Mama Beak
  • Brambleback
  • Sentinel
  • Elder Dragon

Rival

Only activates with 1 Rival fielded. Kha’Zix and Rengar gain benefits based on takedowns:

  • Kha’Zix can choose additional Traits.
  • Rengar grants gold and Attack Damage at max takedowns.

Solar

Grants max Health shield and additional magic damage to champions. Each unique three-star champion grants additional bonuses:

  • Increases the shield and magic damage for each 3-star.
  • 25% Attack Speed and 30 Armor and Magic Resist
  • Converts 50% of the magic damage to true damage
  • 3-star champions ascend to 4-star during combat.

There are four Solar champions:

  • Leona
  • Kayle
  • Sejuani
  • Lux

Sprykin

Gain the Big Furry Friend. Drop a Sprykin on the BFF to pick its Rider. At each breakpoint, the Rider gains additional Health and Attack Speed. Further breakpoints grant your team the BFF’s ability. There are six Sprykin champions:

  • Kobuko
  • Veigar
  • Teemo
  • Tristana
  • Rammus
  • Gnar

Thornmaiden – Zyra only.

Your team gains 5% Durability, increased to 10% if 6 or more Zyra plants are alive.
