Gen.G Esports – On Top Except Against DK?

After a disappointing return week to the LCK at their homestand, Gen.G Esports returned to their usual position. They finished in first place in the Legend Group. However, their final series was a disappointment. They lost to Dplus KIA. That marks a third consecutive series loss to DK. Will they avoid DK if they advance to Round 2?

Hanwha Life Esports – Peaking at the Right Time

Since returning to the LCK, Hanwha Life Esports has struggled. They first won a series against T1 in the second week. HLE’s final week was better. They beat DK and dominated T1 in their final series. They will have some time off thanks to their second-place finish.

T1 – Can They Make Worlds?

T1 has won three consecutive World Championships. For the past two years, many doubted if T1 would make the international event. They got over the line on both occasions, but it was close. T1 is shaky going into the playoffs, and they might not defend their back-to-back-to-back World Championship titles.

Dplus KIA – Dark Horses Or the Favorites?

Dplus KIA ended Round 3-4 with the best record in the Legend Group. Their only losses were to T1 and Hanwha Life Esports. The rest of the series, they were the better team. They even recovered from a bad game one against Gen.G to win the series. Could they win the LCK for the first time since 2021?

KT Rolster – Avoiding Disappointment

Earlier in the year, KT Rolster were on top of the LCK. Now they must start in the Play-Ins. The team has fallen off in recent weeks, and without a set AD Carry, hope is low. The Play-Ins could build confidence for a deep playoff run.

HANJIN BRION – Avoiding a Repeat

HANJIN BRION was the first team eliminated from the Play-Ins in the previous two Play-Ins. Fortunately for them, they will not be the first team this year. They have two chances to reach the Playoffs, starting against KT. They have shown they can beat KT earlier in the year. They might become the first Play-In team to enter the playoffs.

Nongshim Redforce – Reaching Their Potential

Nongshim Redforce have the players to challenge the best teams in the world. We have seen the potential that this team can reach. The post-season could be their time. If all players are firing on all cylinders together, they might become the dark horse.

FearX – Getting Revenge

FearX lost their final series against their upcoming opponent. BFX were second-best against NS. They will need to be better if they want to earn a chance to reach the playoffs.
