LCK 2026 Round 4 Day 20 Recap: Important Victories for HLE and NS
The final day of the LCK Regular Season. The final two matches will determine post-season seedings. Hanwha Life Esports’ win over T1 locks in second place in Legend Group. They will join Gen.G Esports in Round 2 of the Playoffs. Nongshim Redforce moves above FearX in the Rise Group. HANJIN BRION moves to first place, meaning they face KT Rolster in the first match. NS and BFX will battle again in the Lower Bracket of the Play-Ins.
Hanwha Life Esports Storm to Second Place
HLE needed a series victory to finish second in the Legend Group. They got the win dominantly. They controlled the series from start to finish. T1 had one moment in game one after they evened out the gold. That respite was short-lived as Zeka and Kanavi carried a fight around the Baron. They took the Baron and steamrolled the rest of the game.
T1 had one win condition in game two: Peyz’s Lucian. He was ahead, but the rest of the map was on fire. Zeus’s role quest teleport changed the outcome. He neutralized Peyz’s lead, and the game snowballed from there. Kanavi had another excellent performance, returning to form right before the playoffs. HLE will start the Playoffs in Round 2, alongside Gen.G Esports.

The AD Carries Battle For Victory
The story of most of the series between NS and BFX was the AD Carries. It has been about Diable and Taeyoon since the trade that happened at the start of Round 2. Today, the AD Carry who got ahead early won the game. Taeyoon had a significant advantage on Caitlyn, which BFX used to dominate the mid-game. Even with Scout’s heroics, NS could not fight back.
The next two games were mostly stomps, with some slight errors from NS. Diable had four kills early as Lucian, and he never looked back. He had less of a lead in game three, but he did not need it. Playing Jhin Shen into Kalista Renata Glasc meant NS’s bot lane needed to stay even to be ahead. They did more than that. It got a bit shaky in the mid-game, with multiple members dying for no reason. However, they steadied the ship in time to win the series. NS’s victory grants them Right of First Selection in the Play-Ins series against BFX.

Post-Season Awaits
That concludes the final matches of the LCK Regular Season. HLE will start the playoffs in Round 2, playing against the team that Gen.G Esports does not choose. T1 begins in Round 1, selecting one of the teams that qualify through the Play-Ins. HANJIN BRION will start in the Play-Ins Upper Bracket against KT Rolster. The winner will advance to the Playoffs. The loser will face the winner between Nongshim Redforce and FearX for the final Playoff spot. All LCK series from here until the end of the Playoffs are best-of-five. Seven teams compete for the three World Championship spots. Those three teams will join the already qualified Hanwha Life Esports.
