LCK 2026 Play-Ins KT Rolster Versus HANJIN BRION Review: KT Qualify For Playoffs With a Narrow Victory
KT Rolster and HANJIN BRION started the LCK post-season. The series went the distance as the teams traded blows. The final game was a perfect ending to the series. Both teams had chances to end it, but they struggled to land the final blow. Ultimately, KT won the second Elder Drake fight to end the series. KT advances to the Playoffs, while BRO awaits their next opponent.
LCK 2026: Bdd and Jiwoo Carry KT to a Game One Lead
After early control from KT, they failed a dive in the bot lane. The fail allowed BRO back into the game, putting KT on a timer. Even with the Ryze scaling, Bdd would struggle in the late game against BRO’s champions.
The pivotal fight would be on KT’s Infernal Soul point. It started with Casting losing most of his health before Bdd finished him off with a Realm Warp. Effort and Cuzz died in trade for PerfecT and GIDEON. KT turned towards Roamer and Teddy. The turn was perfect, and KT moved to Baron.
While KT lost the Drake, the fight went in their favor, and the gold lead exploded. KT played slow and methodical, using the Baron to bait BRO into a fight. Eventually, the lead grew too much for BRO to handle, with KT having Baron and Infernal Soul. Jiwoo earned a pentakill before ending the game.
LCK 2026: BRO Takes Long to Ramp Up But Hits Hard
BRO’s draft in game two was set up for mid-game domination. GIDEON and Roamer did not connect early in the game. In fact, Bdd found the angle for the first successful roam as Syndra. BRO even lost the Infernal Soul point fight, and the game was falling away from them.
GIDEON and Roamer finally connected on a target in the mid lane, and the game exploded. BRO started to run over the game. They dominated the Infernal Soul fight and earned a Baron off it.
The Elder Drake fight did not start how BRO wanted; Roamer missed his Charm on Teddy. That did not matter in the fight. Namgung’s Hostile Takeover gave Teddy the space to tear through KT and tie up the series.
LCK 2026: BRO Cleans Out
BRO had early game plans to target the bot lane. They did not get the dive they wanted, and Namgung died in the mid lane. It looked dreary for BRO until Roamer secured a solo kill on Bdd. With powerful early game champions, BRO took over the rift. They won a skirmish on the bot side of the map to accelerate the game.
BRO played measured and used their poke to their advantage. They consistently pushed KT off waves and objectives. Teddy built a significant gold lead, despite having no kills. KT had to give Ocean Soul and Baron numerous times because of BRO’s poke.
The second Baron proved enough for BRO to end the game. Teddy sniped Bdd with Trueshot Barrage for his first kill of the game. The floodgates opened, and BRO moved to match point.
LCK 2026: KT Responds to Reach Silver Scrapes
The first blood kill came at 11 minutes as Roamer dived PerfecT with Casting’s help. Casting’s gold lead exploded as he took the first tower. BRO tried to use that lead to win a 5v5 around the Drake. However, they overreached, and KT bit back.
Now KT overplayed their hand. They chased Roamer in the top lane. Eventually, they secured the kill, but not in time before BRO arrived. BRO recovered their lead. They threw it away again, looking for another 5v5, but this time in the Baron pit. KT cleaned up, and the gold lead ballooned.
Four of the five KT members had defensive items, making BRO’s dive weak. KT pulled the trigger first on Namgung, and the rest of BRO followed suit for Silver Scrapes.
LCK 2026: A Late Game For the Ages
KT put all of their eggs in the Jiwoo basket for the final game of the series. He earned the first three kills for KT in the game, the perfect situation. However, Jiwoo died in two Drake fights in a row. Both times, Namgung caught him with the Pop Blossom. However, BRO chose to go for Baron after winning the fights. The first one, they were chased off the objective. The second time, they took Baron but lost the reset fight. That meant KT got the Chemtech Soul.
Jiwoo survived the salvo on the Elder Drake fight, but they had to reset. That gave BRO a positional advantage on the objective. They won the fight and took the Elder. They could not end the game. BRO used the buff to take Baron again. After the Elder wore off, KT defended their base, leaving GIDEON alive.
The game went to a second Elder fight. KT focused on the objective, and Bdd denied Namgung’s Pop Blossom. Jiwoo got the final blow on the Elder, and KT ended the series.
