LCK 2026 Regular Season Day 36: T1’s Victory Qualies Them For the Legend Group
At the start of the day, T1 needed a series victory to clinch their spot in the LCK Legend Group. They made it difficult for themselves, but eventually came away with the victory. Fenrir had to sub in for KT Rolster, but they still beat Nongshim Redforce. Lehends reappeared for the first two games of the LCK series, but Pleta subbed in for the final game.
T1 Versus KRX

Game One – Lack of Proactivity Dooms KRX
KRX gets some value with the Vi and Nautilus early, killing Peyz without Flash. However, they do not push the issue, and Peyz is allowed to scale. At the same time, Rich dies to Oner, making him fall behind. KRX forces Peyz’s summoner spells before the third Drake. Unfortunately, they do not connect on him as Peyz takes the Rift Herald to dodge Willer’s Cease and Desist. The next Drake fight is messy, but T1 emerges with five kills to three. They secure the Baron and use the last few seconds of it to end the game. Peyz gets another pentakill.
Game Two – Every Lane Dies
Willer ganks every lane in the early game and kills a T1 member. Peyz and Keria still dominate the bot lane, but the rest of the map is on fire. Doran and Faker die multiple times and are out of the game. Any winning play for T1 turns out to be a fleeting moment as KRX responds instantly. T1 nearly turns around a Baron fight, but the gold deficit is too much. The snowball keeps rolling, and T1 has to give up the Ocean Soul. T1 goes for a desperate catch on Ucal, but it fails, and KRX kills the T1 bot lane.
Game Three – KRX Bleed Out
The early game sees little action. Keria and Andil spend most of their time in the mid lane. T1 slowly builds a lead through kills and towers taken. The poke becomes difficult for KRX to navigate as they lose the Rift Herald fight. The next Drake teamfight sees KRX secure the objective, and they get the best fight possible. However, it is still not enough to win. T1 snowballs the game, picking off KRX whenever they try to contest objectives.

KT Rolster Versus Nongshim Redforce

Game One – Winning Through Bot Lane
Fenrir subbed in for Aiming due to a medical condition. Whether that impacted NS’s plan for this game does not matter. Sponge dived with his bot lane early to secure a lead. KT stems the bleeding with one play towards the bot lane, but it does not matter. The game explodes with NS pulling off a three-player dive on Bdd, while Diable and Lehends 2v2 kill in bot. The game goes out of KT’s control as they do not have the damage to burst through Kingen before they die.
Game Two – KT Almost Threw a Won Game
Cuzz goes for an early invade, which proves to be a mistake. Fortunately, KT recovered from the failed play with a strong fight on the first Drake. They followed that with a handful of picks that built them a significant lead. The third Drake fight is messy, as KT trades down with three kills to two. Fortunately, they get the Drake. KT loses their lead as consecutive plays go against them.
NS takes their opportunity to throw the game away. They dive too far under a tower and give over two kills. Then, in a desperate play, they force the Baron. KT not only crushes the fight, but Cuzz also steals the objective. KT wins the Baron push fight and ends the game.
Game Three – A Game of Picks
KT’s start is better as they target Kingen early to get PerfecT ahead. The mid-game becomes a story of players dying in unnecessary spots. NS members, especially Pleta, die in moments when they do not need to. KT overextended to kill Scout in the top lane, and the gold is even again. KT realises they need PerfecT in the fights, and NS can not stand up to them. With a fight win, KT takes the Baron and begins their siege. Once again, KT overextended, losing two members, and their siege ended. KT’s next siege is messy, but PerfecT is too strong, and he carries KT to the end of the LCK series.

The Usual T1 Circus
KRX needed significant early leads to garner an advantage against T1. Fortunately, all three lanes afforded them that opportunity in game two. The rest of the series was T1-controlled. However, game two encapsulates what can happen to T1 in a series. They pick an eccentric draft, and they get punished for trying to win their lanes without Oner. Willer was incredible to find the angles to give the lead to KRX. The victory has qualified T1 for the LCK Legend Group.
KT With Fenrir Is Stronger
Even with KT needing to sub Fenrir in for Aiming, that looked the better team. Game one was difficult, but that was a well-executed game by NS. Lehends made an impact on the LCK series, and it was strange to see him subbed out for game three. Pleta did not do himself any favors in game three. He was caught numerous times and barely contributed to fights.
