LCK 2026 Regular Season Day 34: T1’s Rare Victory And Taeyoon’s Bragging Rights
T1 has given themselves a chance to finish second in the LCK. Their rare victory over Gen.G Esports in the regular season sees them go above Gen.G in the standings. Taeyoon has bragging rights after he and FearX defeated Nongshim Redforce. NS had the tools to win the series, but threw them away. Their teamfight coordination needs work if they want a chance to reach the LCK Road to MSI.
T1 Versus Gen.G Esports

Game One – Gen.G Read T1
T1 has been snowballing through the bot lane in most of their recent series. With Faker on Twisted Fate, that was their plan once again. Gen.G were ready for Faker’s side lane plays in this game. Chovy was always ready to respond. T1 earned kills, but Gen.G got more. They slowly built an incremental lead. T1 denied the Hextech Soul point but lost the fight. T1 thought they had a pick on Skarner, but Oner runs into two ultimates and dies. T1 tries to contest 3v5, but it fails. Gen.G pushes with Baron for the end.
Game Two – T1 Claw Their Way Back
T1 makes a desperate five-player play early into the game to get the snowball rolling. They do build a lead, but it is not enough to snowball the game. T1 overchases in one of the Drake fights, losing most of their members and their lead. Chovy catches Peyz in the mid lane, and Gen.G goes towards Baron. They turn onto T1 before completing the objective and crush the fight. Gen.G now has a 5k gold lead.
T1 stalls the game with some picks and perfect teamfighting despite being down in gold. Peyz is really strong heading into the Elder Drake fight. Oner kicks Canyon away from the objective, allowing him to smite away the Drake. T1 wins the fight with three kills to two and pushes for the end. Oner lands the Kick Flash onto Ruler, and the game ends.
Game Three – T1 Blast Through the Bot Lane
Peyz and Keria win the trade at level 1. That allows them to force Ruler off the tower. Oner invades Canyon’s jungle with Keria’s help, and the game starts to snowball. Ruler can barely touch the wave and is down 1k gold for most of the early game. Doran dies once to a Canyon gank, but T1 snowballs. They dominate the teamfights and even win the Ocean Soul fight despite Peyz dying early.
T1 then has an oopsie moment as each member goes in 1 by 1 and dies. Gen.G cut the gold lead from 10k to 4k. T1 regains its footing on the Elder fight and wins. They use the buff to get Baron and siege the top lane. Gen.G nearly defends with Ruler and Canyon up against Peyz and Faker. The T1 carry duo stands tall, ending the LCK series.

FearX Versus Nongshim Redforce

Game One – An Even Game Thrown Away
NS looks primed to win the first game of the series, with Scout having a significant lead. He earns four kills in the early game. However, NS blunders multiple fights in a row, and the gold is even. They still have their fed Ryze, and he keeps NS competitive. Every fight is a trade, with Sponge being the first to die in most of them. In the crucial fight, Scout almost kills VicLa. However, NS pulls the trigger at different times on the re-engage, and they lose the fight.
Game Two – NS Blows Another Lead
The early game goes even better for NS this time around. They have gold leads on Sponge, Scout, and Kingen. With their dive composition online, they should snowball the game. However, one dive too far proves costly for them. They lost their lead and gave up the Baron. BFX turns the Baron power play in their favor, and now NS has no chance. Sponge melts every time he goes in, and NS can not kill Clear in time. BFX closes out the series with their second Baron of the game.

T1 Defeat Gen.G In the Regular Season
T1 rarely beats Gen.G in the LCK regular season. They beat them once in the regular season and once in the LCK Cup last year. Now they have earned their first win against Gen.G in 2026 after two matches played. They looked defeated in game two, until T1’s masterclass teamfighting and Peyz’s spacing shone through. The former Gen.G AD carry was instrumental in guiding T1 to the LCK series victory.
Taeyoon Gets the Final Laugh
After Diable and Taeyoon’s trade, everyone looked forward to this LCK match. Everyone wanted to see who would come out on top. Inevitably, BFX and Taeyoon won. Taeyoon’s celebration showed NS that they should have never gone through with the trade. Overall, Taeyoon performed better than Diable on the day.
