LCK 2026 Regular Season Week 7: Potential Qualification Secured

Three more LCK teams can secure their spot at the Road to MSI. Wins for Gen.G Esports and KT Rolster will guarantee a top-six finish, while T1 needs BFX to lose at least once. Should Hanwha Life Esports win both series, they will secure a top-four finish; one win will guarantee a top-five finish. If DN SOOPers lose both of their matches, they are out of playoff contention.

Week 7 Schedule

T1 Versus Nongshim Redforce

Prediction: T1 2-0

Two teams that are on different trajectories. The last time these two teams met, it was Taeyoon’s final appearance for NS. They could face T1’s fearsome bot lane with Diable and Pleata. Barring a T1 collapse, they should have this series.

DN SOOPers Versus Dplus KIA

Prediction: DK 2-0

Even with DK’s downturn in form, DNS should not match up to them. DNS are levels below everyone in the LCK. A win for DK could help to restore their confidence after a disappointing week 6.

FearX Versus Gen.G Esports

Prediction: Gen.G 2-0

Even when BFX were at their best, they could not contend with Gen.G in the LCK Cup. Neither team is at the same level as the LCK Cup, but BFX has had a bigger fall off since the LCK Cup Final.

KRX Versus KT Rolster

Prediction: KT 2-1

It could be another series where KT loses during the slump. KRX can punish KT if they do not perform. We saw that when KRX took a game off HLE. KT must find their form again. If they do not, they could see themselves fall further in the standings.

Hanwha Life Esports Versus Dplus KIA

Prediction: HLE 2-1

We have a sneaky suspicion that DK will push HLE to the brink in this series. DK has the tools necessary to beat HLE. However, HLE has shown they are clutch in the pivotal moments, while DK has struggled in that aspect.

HANJIN BRION Versus DN SOOPers

Prediction: BRO 2-0

A couple of weeks ago, BRO and DNS were the last-placed teams in the LCK. Since BRO’s victory, they have won three more series. They are the heavy favorites to win this series.

Gen.G Esports Versus T1

Prediction: Gen.G 2-1

Predicting anything but a Gen.G win against T1 in the LCK is usually a mistake. T1 has beaten Gen.G once in the regular season and once in the LCK cup in the past two years. Both teams have struggled in the regular season, but both are on an uptick in form recently.

FearX Versus Nongshim Redforce

Prediction: BFX 2-1

The battle between Taeyoon and Diable. The first time the two AD carries will face off since swapping teams. The series could go either way, but we give BFX the edge based on recent form.

Hanwha Life Esports Versus KT Rolster

Prediction: HLE 2-0

Before their previous meeting, KT was undefeated in the LCK. They were the favorites to win the series. However, since then, KT has lost two of their last three series. HLE has continued their streak and sits comfortably in first place. HLE are the favorites to win this series.

KRX Versus HANJIN BRION

Prediction: BRO 2-1

It will be interesting to see if BRO’s form can continue. KRX is a great test for them to keep up their momentum. While they are far from the best team in the LCK, BRO should fear them. KRX will beat any team that does not show up on the day.
