LCK 2026 Regular Season Day 26: Gen.G and HLE Survive Scares For Uncomfortable Victories
The number of LCK matches left is running out. Every win matters for the teams in the coming weeks. Hanwha Life Esports continues their winning ways against DN SOOPers. They have now won nine consecutive series since losing to T1 in week one. Gen.G Esports has begun their own win streak. Since losing to HLE, they have won five series in a row, catching up to KT Rolster in the LCK standings.
Gen.G Esports Versus Nongshim Redforce

Game One – Gen.G Claws Victory From the Jaws of Defeat
The early game features blows traded between both teams. Neither can pull ahead of the other until Gen.G wins a Drake fight. They move over to the Baron and take the objective away. However, Chovy and Duro overstay in the top lane, which leads to their deaths. Gen.G looks to extend the play, but they lose everyone except Ruler in trade for Diable. NS takes two Barons in a row to set up their siege of Gen.G’s base. Everything goes wrong on their siege, despite a 10k gold lead. Kiin’s flank sets up the fight perfectly, and Gen.G recovers. The fourth Baron proves to be the final fight as Gen.G ends the game.
Game Two – Kingen Targeted By Gen.G
Most of the early game action takes place in the top lane. Gen.G targets Kingen to keep him down, while NS attempts to protect him. Gen.G succeeds, but both Chovy and Ruler die. The second Drake fight is where the game turns. Gen.G wins after Kingen overextends, as Scout follows. Gen.G controls the game, picking off members whenever they push forward. Sponge steals the Baron to stall out the game. Kiin takes the final fight into his own hands, catching all five members with a massive GNAR!.

Hanwha Life Esports Versus DN SOOPers

Game One – Mid Game Explosion
DNS remains competitive in the early game, finding picks to stay relevant. However, HLE’s teamfighting took control in the mid-game. They started the fight with two kills, and Zeus finished it off with a perfect GNAR! to secure the ace. With HLE in the driver’s seat, DNS could not compete, and they fell in game one.
Game Two – Agonizingly Close for DNS
DNS fought tooth and nail in game two. They never allowed HLE to find a significant lead in the mid-game. The only gold lead was from Zeka, because of Twisted Fate’s passive. Zeka died with Baron up, and DNS moved to the objective. They secured it, but lost multiple members. Pyosik denied HLE’s Mountain Soul with a steal, and the teams traded four-for-four in the fight. DNS made another pick, leading to a Baron force. However, this time, everyone died, and HLE ended the game.

NS Shows Improvement
NS had game one in their hands. Diable showed why everyone has hyped him up in the past year. However, they let their guard down once, and Gen.G punished them. It was a better performance than what everyone expected from them. We have been in this position before. NS shows promise, and then it comes crumbling down in their next LCK series.
DNS Show Some Fight
The big issue with DNS recently has been their lack of fight in the LCK. They often give up leads and then fall by the wayside. That was not the case against HLE as they fought back at every turn. HLE needed to be at their best to take on a more revitalized DNS with Life. Kanavi performed below par during this series, but the rest of the team stepped up in his absence.
