LCK 2026 Regular Season Day 25: The KT Rollercoaster Ride in Fully Swing

LCK 2026 Regular Season Log

The matches on the final day of Week 5 were all about the AD Carries. Both Teddy and Taeyoon delivered monstrous performances to help their team to victory. HANJIN BRION gave KT Rolster their second loss of the LCK, and the KT rollercoaster is on a downward turn. Taeyoon’s debut performance was better than that of Diable’s, but there is a caveat. Taeyoon played against a struggling DN SOOPers, while Nongshim Redforce faced KRX.

Game One – Bdd Versus Teddy

The early and mid-game were tense between both teams. Neither could leapfrog ahead of the other until Teddy took over the game. Teddy was not missing his Mystic Shots and consistently kept KT at bay in teamfights. Bdd also had a monstrous gold lead, but because KT could not step up, he had no space to do so. Even in a fight where GIDEON died early, BRO fought back. Teddy kept them ahead in the game, and it paid off. Teddy ended the game 12/1/6.

Game Two – Nothing Goes Right For KT

Every single time KT made a play in the early game, it felt like it kept parity and did not build a lead. Most of the gold for KT went to Effort and Cuzz. BRO always answered back, mostly because of Teddy. The pivotal fight came at the 28-minute mark. Roamer looked doomed, but he survived it all. That moment encapsulated the game for KT as all five members died. BRO ran away with the game from that point onwards.

DN SOOPers Versus FearX

BFX beat DNS on Taeyoon's debut with them in the LCK

Game One – Impressive Taeyoon Debut

Taeyoon has a tall order, needing to replace Diable of BFX. His first game was impressive as Raptor and Kellin helped him get ahead of deokdam. The DNS AD Carry barely had a chance to play this game. Only Clozer had a lead for DNS in a close early game. However, the lack of gold on deokdam really hurt as Taeyoon took over. Kellin kept everyone alive through Clozer’s burst, and BFX won game one.

Game Two – Explosive Bot Lane

deokdam barely got a chance to play in Game One. It got significantly worse in the second game. Raptor’s goal was to put him behind for the rest of the game. His plan succeeded, and DNS had no real way back into the game. Pyosik stole Baron, but that only delayed the inevitable. BFX’s first Baron of the game was enough for them to push for the end.

Champions Played

DN SOOPers

  • DuDu – Renekton, Ambessa
  • Pyosik – Jarvan IV, Xin Zhao
  • Clozer – Aurora, Sylas
  • deokdam – Ashe, Yunara
  • Life – Seraphine, Lulu

FearX

  • Clear – Gnar, Vayne
  • Raptor – Pantheon, Trundle
  • VicLa – Annie, Azir
  • Taeyoon – Lucian, Ezreal
  • Kellin – Milio, Neeko

Is the KT Collapse Upon Us?

KT Rolster had a magnificent start to the LCK. They only suffered one series defeat in Round 1. That was at the hands of Hanwha Life Esports earlier in the week. Round 2 has started in the worst way possible for them. A loss to BRO has set them back significantly. Yes, BRO is on the uptick, but last time they played, KT crushed them. KT will need to regroup next week.

Better Debut For Taeyoon

Diable had a less-than-impressive debut for his new team earlier this week. However, that was not entirely his fault. Taeyoon, on the other hand, was set up for success by Raptor and Kellin. Raptor showed a significant presence in the bot lane. That is something he did in the LCK Cup, but has not done as much in the LCK. Taeyoon utilized the advantages he got to push BFX over the line against a struggling DNS team. DNS played their third support of the regular season with Life subbing in today.
