LCK 2026 Regular Season Day 27: DK Lack The Killer Instinct

LCK 2026 Regular Season Log

With KT Rolster slumping in the LCK, it was the perfect time for Dplus KIA to capitalize. They started both games well, but failed to close them out. They allowed KT back in and are now slipping away from the top three. HANJIN BRION, on the other hand, continued their momentum with another series victory. They are now on a three-series streak, winning all six games in that span.

Game One – DK Does Nothing With An Early Lead

The game started well for DK. They got gold on ShowMaker, and Lucid lived on low health twice. However, they never found any plays after that point. Bdd contributed more than ShowMaker, despite being behind. KT crushed every fight, with no one dying for the rest of the game. DK never got a chance to get close to Aiming’s Ashe.

Game Two – Another Lead Thrown

KT had a shaky early and mid-game that included a failed flash from Bdd, giving ShowMaker first blood. DK had started to build a significant advantage in the mid-game and looked to put the pressure on. They secured two inhibitors, but gave up the mid and bot t1 in return. Then, on their Cloud Soul fight, Smash blast coned in and died. KT cleaned up the fight and took Baron, earning their first significant gold lead of the game. The continuous siege from KT was relentless. They finally broke through DK’s defenses on the second attempt.

HANJIN BRION Versus FearX

BRO continued their winning ways in the LCK against BFX

Game One – GIDEON Decides the Game Early

GIDEON hid in Raptor’s blue side jungle as Raptor took his gromp. GIDEON smited the camp away and then chased Raptor down for first blood. GIDEON utilized the gold to pressure the amp and build BRO’s lead. BRO decided to give up their third Drake in exchange for gold. The decision paid off as they soared above BFX in the teamfights. Raptor stole the fourth Drake away, and Taeyoon almost 1v4d, but it was not enough to stop the BRO tide.

Game Two – Casting Joins GIDEON

GIDEON’s first gank is in the top lane to get a kill for Casting. BFX’s early and mid-game is good as they pick off Roamer and the bot lane. BRO takes an ill-advised fight in the mid lane without their fed Zaahen. They lose it and are on the back foot. For the next few minutes, BRO plays defense, fending off BFX’s dives. Eventually, they turn even fights into wins as GIDEON and Casting triumph. The final fight sees only Roamer and Casting left alive against four BFX members. Casting does all the work as he pushes BRO to victory.

A Miserable DK Performance

DK had leads in both games of the series. The second lead was more significant in the first. They lost both of them due to a lack of proactivity. That was a symptom of this roster in the LCK Cup and in the early parts of the regular season. It went away in the past weeks, but has now reared its ugly head. Perhaps it is a fluke, but with T1 next, they can not afford to make the same mistakes. KT won the series, but they did not play well, only taking advantage of DK’s mistakes.

BRO on the Charge

Since their narrow defeat to T1 at T1’s Home Ground, BRO has been surging in the LCK. They have won three series in a row and have not dropped a single map. This team is pulling themselves out of the bottom of the LCK and potentially into Road to MSI conversations. They are tied in sixth place above Nongshim Redforce by game score. The two teams will meet this week to decide who is definitively in sixth place.
