LCK 2026 Regular Season Day 32: Gen.G Help Teams Secure Road to MSI Qualification
Gen.G’s Esports win over FearX helped three teams secure qualification to the LCK Road to MSI. Themselves, KT Rolster and T1 have joined Hanwha Life Esports in the LCK playoffs. KRX’s chances have dropped significantly following their defeat to KT. KT started the series well, but tailed off and barely got over the line against a threatening KRX team.
FearX Versus Gen.G Esports

Game One – A Muted Display
BFX had an early lead through the bot lane. Ruler and Duro had to leave their turret, and Raptor chased them down for a kill. All it took was a Rift Herald fight to turn the tide in Gen.G’s favor. BFX slowed down the progress through Clear’s side laning, but it did not last long. Eventually, Gen.G punished the Renekton and had better team fights than BFX. The Baron helped Gen.G explode the gold lead. Minutes later, Gen.G ended the game with a Chovy pentakill.
Game Two – More Fight, Same Result
BFX has a foot in the door in game two. Even with a Kiin solo kill, Gen.G never pushes far away from BFX. BFX picks up a couple of kills and the First Blood tower. It starts to unravel as VicLa dies while pushing the tier tower. Gen.G earns a more significant lead through the side lanes; however, it comes down to one important fight. BFX is first on the Drake, but they get flanked from all sides. Raptor tries to counter-engage, but it fails. Gen.G picks up the Infernal Soul and Baron. With both buffs at the ready, Gen.G closed out the series.

KRX Versus KT Rolster

Game One – A One-Sided Affair
Game one was more of what we saw from KT at the start of the regular season. They dominated from start to finish. One of the more important pieces, Cuzz, had a much improved performance in this game. Every time KRX looked to make a play, KT shut them down. On the other hand, KT always got ahead in their plays. The game always looked like it was going towards KT. Even when Rich got on top of Effort, Effort barely survived.
Game Two – KRX Turn it Around
Game two starts much better for KRX. Their mid-jungle wins their individual 1v1s, earning a gold lead. KT has a lead in the bot side of the map until the rest of KRX show up to cut the deficit on two separate occasions. After KRX kills Cuzz again, they get their first Baron of the game and are on Mountain Soul point. KT has better fights and macro to claw back some of the deficit. Another pick on Cuzz sets up the second Baron for KRX. They can not finish the game with the buff. But they end it with a fight win on the Elder Drake spawn.
Game Three – KT Almost Blunders It
The early game is neck and neck as the teams trade blows in the bot lane. Cuzz manages to steal the second Drake of the game, giving KT a win condition. They win the next two Drake teamfights, securing the Mountain Soul. KRX’s hopes in the series are falling away until they find two teamfights in a row to snap back. While sieging with Baron, KRX overextends and teleports a flank from PerfecT, catching Lazyfeel. The game stalls for an Elder fight between the two teams. Cuzz and PerfecT reign supreme, ending the series.

Another Day At the Office For Gen.G
Gen.G’s form continues to ramp up in the LCK. They are now consistently beating teams below them with ease. It is reminiscent of Gen.G’s regular-season performances of the past few years. They had no trouble dispatching BFX. They will now face T1 in their upcoming LCK match, a team that is also on the rise.
KT Were Back For a Moment
KT demolished KRX in the first game of the series. That led many to believe that KT were back to their best. However, the rest of the series told a different tale. They struggled in game two and nearly gave up a guaranteed win in game three. The win may be enough for KT to advance to the LCK Road to MSI, but their chances at international qualification are grim.
