LCK 2026 Regular Season Week 6: HANJIN BRION Victorious Against the Odds
HANJIN BRION are on a dominant run of form in their previous LCK series. Since losing to T1 at their Home Ground, BRO has not dropped a game. On their path, they have defeated DN SOOPers, KT Rolster, FearX, and Nongshim Redforce. Those wins have set them apart from the bottom half of the LCK Standings. Meanwhile, Hanwha Life Esports secured their spot at the Road to MSI.

One Talking Point For Each Team

Hanwha Life Esports – Playoffs Assured
After HLE defeated KRX in Vietnam, they secured a spot at Road to MSI. However, they still need to continue their momentum. First, they must secure a top-five spot to be in the Legend Group. After that, a better position in the standings will increase their chances to qualify for the Mid-Season Invitational. Finishing in the top two grants two chances.
Gen.G Esports – Clawing Their Way Back
Seeing Gen.G outside of the top two in the LCK has been a surprise. But now with KT’s downfall, they have retaken their spot. Gen.G is not the dominant team that they were in the past, but they are steadily improving.
KT Rolster – Unraveling At Its Core
One part of KT that has always been their shining light is Bdd and Cuzz. In their recent series, their coordination and overall play have lacked. They still have the clutch factor, as we saw against DK. However, there are concerns that with the whole team slumping, they could fall further in the standings.
T1 – A Sleeping Giant Arises
T1 has never been the best regular-season team in recent years. 2026 has been no different. However, there was something off about their play. They looked clueless in their losses, and their wins were a circus. Lately, they have had more dominant victories, while still playing fast and loose. They could take over KT’s position in the coming weeks.
Dplus KIA – Crashing Down
DK is losing time to reach the top four of the LCK. While many expected them to have a downturn in form, their performances are worrying. They lacked the killer instinct to beat KT and never utilized leads against T1. With BRO on a hot run of form, DK must step up.
HANJIN BRION – On a Hot Streak
BRO has now won four consecutive series, not dropping a game. They were starting at the barrel of a potential last-place finish. Now they could take over DK’s position in the top five of the standings. At the very least, they sit at the top of the bottom half of the LCK in a Road to MSI spot.
FearX – Struggling to Find Consistency
It was a strange week for BFX. They started with a loss to BRO, but then rebounded by defeating KT. The win against KT was dominant from start to finish and reminiscent of their performances from the LCK Cup.
Nongshim Redforce – Subbing Out Lehends
One of the players who felt untouchable in the NS roster was Lehends. His experience would likely be too important for NS to leave him out. However, Pleta has replaced Lehends for the time being. Pleata was not bad by any means, but lacked the killer edge that Lehends does.
KRX – A Difficult Week
Heading into their home ground in Vietnam, KRX faced a difficult week. They had to play against Gen.G and HLE, the top two teams in the LCK. The Gen.G series was lackluster, but they turned up the heat against HLE. They fought them at their own game and nearly came out on top in the series.
DN SOOPers – No Recovery in Sight
DNS had moments of brilliance against HLE, but nothing significant. They had a difficult week for sure, but there is not much sign of life at this stage. If they keep losing, their chances at making the playoffs later this year will evaporate before their eyes.
