Destiny 2 Monument of Triumph: Grasp of Avarice Weapons and Armor

|
The Grasp of Avarice Entrance in Destiny 2

Every raid and dungeon pre-Edge of Fate in Destiny received gear tiering. There is a new armor set with an individual set bonus for each one. Some dungeons and raids saw their weapons get additional perks, while others got new weapons added to their pool. Grasp of Avarice brought back some of the more iconic weapons from Destiny 1. It is the first time since the dungeon’s release that its weapons will get updated perk pools.

There are four Grasp of Avarice weapons in rotation:

  • Eyasluna – Adaptive Frame Stasis Hand Cannon
  • 1000 Yard Stare – Adaptive Frame Void Sniper Rifle
  • Matador 64 – Precision Frame Arc Shotgun
  • Hero of Ages – Aggressive Frame Arc Sword

Unburied Treasure is the Origin Trait for the dungeon weapons, which reads as follows: Readying this weapon grants an increased period of rapidly decaying accuracy and range. Swords gain increased lunge distance.

Destiny 2: Eyasluna

Eyasluna is an Adaptive Frame Stasis Hand Cannon. When it was released originally, it was one of the premier Hand Cannon options in PvP. The Monument of Triumph version is more skewed towards PvE perks. It can still be useful in PvP, but it stands out as one of the best Stasis Hand Cannons for PvE.

Destiny 2: Twisting Echo – Armor Set Bonus

  • 2-piece – Untold Greed
    • Picking up ammo, Orbs of Power, Elemental pickups, or destroying a Strand Tangle grants stacks of Untold Greed, slightly reducing damage taken and providing reload speed to equipped weapons. When your shields are broken, some stacks are lost.
  • 4-piece – Overflowing Coffers
    • While you have stacks of Untold Greed, Orbs of Power, and Elemental pickups provide more of their respective energy, and Strand Tangles deal increased damage. When your shields are broken, all stacks are converted into a fountain of Orbs of Power.

The armor set has some use cases, presenting some survivability and utility to your Guardian. However, the other armor sets will often supersede it. The others grant better stats and require less effort, as with the Smoke Jumper Armor set.
