Free Games! On Amazon Prime Gaming – August 10, 2026

Amazon Luna for Amazon Prime members has 16 games available to claim for free as of August 10, 2026. Several will look familiar if you read our post from July. As always, there’s quite a mix of genres here, from psychological horror to turn-based RPGs to puzzle games and more. Read on for all the details!

On Amazon Luna from Amazon Prime

Free games from Amazon Luna, available through Amazon Prime Gaming, can be downloaded and played in the Amazon Games app. There are currently two games for Amazon Luna, and one of them is a carryover from last month.

In Sound Mind

In Sound Mind is described as a “psychological horror with frenetic puzzles and unique boss fights.” The game takes place in your own mind, where you work through memories.

Terraforming Mars

This turn-based strategy game that we detailed last month is still available. It has some similarities to the Civilization franchise. Terraform Mars to make it habitable.

Epic Games Store

Once you link your Amazon Prime and Epic Games Store accounts, claiming these games is a piece of cake. There are three titles available from the Epic Games Store this month, and two of them are carried over from July.

Escape Academy

Escape Academy isn’t just an escape room game; it’s a place to study to become the “ultimate Escapist.” The game includes more than a dozen rooms, and it can be played alone or with friends! It supports both local and online co-op. The Tournament of Puzzles update is also included, which added arenas, three new game modes, and more.

GoG.com

The ten remaining free titles are all from GOG.com, and although most are PC-only, two are also available for Mac. To claim these games, you’ll grab the claim code and enter it in the GoG app on your computer.

Right and Down

The first of the GOG games from Amazon Prime Gaming today is an RPG roguelike that uses cards and has only two moves: right or down. Each turn, you decide which way to go. Each decision holds great weight. And every game is different. There are six heroes to unlock, over 100 artifacts, and nine dungeons with different rules to add to the game.

My opinion is that you should claim everything and then jump into whatever strikes your fancy when you have some free time. Note that game availability varies, so some will expire sooner than others.
