LCK Round 3 Day 5 Recap: DN SOOPers Finally Get Their First Series Victory
DN SOOPers have not won a series since their first day in the LCK. Fortunately, they can finally say they have a second win. They took down HANJIN BRION 2-1 in their best performance since the LCK Cup. KT Rolster followed up that series with another shock victory. They defeated Hanwha Life Esports to complete their 2-0 week and alter the standings. T1 head to first place after HLE’s loss for the first time this year.
DN SOOPers Finally Break Their Streak
DN SOOPers won the opening series of LCK Round 1. Since then, they have not won a series until today. They broke their 18-series loss streak with a 2-1 victory over HANJIN BRION. It was a nail-biting series, which initially saw DNS fail to destroy the Nexus on their first attempt. Fortunately, with the Elder Drake buff, they posed enough of a threat for DuDu to break the Nexus.
BRO has yet to reach the form of the first two rounds, with Roamer, especially, suffering. He has lost lane in both series so far, and his teamfighting is lacking. DNS keep their hopes alive of pursuing the Play-Ins stage. A loss would not have eliminated them, but the win makes it easier.

KT Rolster Complete a 2-0 Week
KT Rolster began the LCK return against the two MSI representatives after dealing with internal drama. They have now ended the week with a 2-0 series score, despite having FenRir sub in for both series. Overall, they outperformed HLE throughout the series. One of the biggest standouts was Cuzz, who had Kanavi’s number throughout. FenRir was also impressive, standing up to Gumayusi. HLE’s return to the LCK has been less than impressive—losses to Dplus KIA and now KT have cost them their first-place position. They held that spot since Week 5, after handing KT their first series loss of the regular season.
After dominating the Jungle role in Rounds 1 and 2, Kanavi has lost his way. Ever since HLE’s loss to Bilibili Gaming in the Upper Bracket Final of MSI, Kanavi has struggled to find his footing. He will need to return to his peak to ensure HLE qualify for the Playoffs.

Hanwha Life Esports Need to Stabilize
After winning MSI, HLE almost all but booked their ticket to the World Championship. However, they must first qualify for the Playoffs to activate the ticket. They should qualify, but with the Legend Group up in the air, anything can happen. Dplus KIA and KT Rolster are on the rise. Gen.G Esports is at its weakest, while T1 is inconsistent. HLE’s loss to KT pushes T1 to pole position in the LCK. HLE is only behind by series differential. Only two match wins separate the top from the bottom of the Legend Group. That is a stark difference to last year. After one series in 2025, Gen.G Esports booked their ticket to the Playoffs and the World Championship.
