LCK 2026 Round 3 Day 4 Recap: Dplus KIA Are The Best Team in Korea
Diable moved to Nongshim Redforce midway through the LCK regular season. Diable got his first LCK win over his old team, FearX, with the 2-1 win. That win saw him play Aatrox in the bot lane. He debuted the champion in that role in the LCK. Afterwards, Dplus KIA continued to get the ball rolling as they beat Gen.G Esports again. DK’s win blows the Legend Group wide open, with it possible for any of the five teams to qualify for the playoffs.
Scout Carries on Locke Again
Scout has played Locke in both series so far in the LCK. In both games, he has delivered a carry performance. Locke has a 100% win rate in the LCK so far, with Scout being the only player to get it. Locke has also dominated in the Kespa Cup, with only one loss in ten games. Diable also debuted the first bot lane Aatrox in the LCK. While he was not the main character in game three, he was solid on the pick.
BFX had leads in both of their losses through a dominant early game. Raptor was a big part of those early games, but he was also the cost in game one. He had an individual gold lead of 1k, but threw it all away with a badly executed engagement. NS moved to a tied series score with BFX at the top, but the latter is ahead on game difference.

The Dplus KIA Snowball Continues to Roll
Currently, the best-in-form team in the LCK is Dplus KIA. They demolished Gen.G Esports in front of their home crowd. Game two was the epitome of control. Even though they had low kills, they built advantages through better macro and map movements. They also handed Locke the first loss of the LCK regular season. DK gave up the first pick of the champion in favor of taking Camille for Career.
Chovy had a good game on the new mid lane champion, but could not stop DK’s momentum. Gen.G is on a downward trend. Having lost to T1 and DK twice in recent months, they are the weakest they have been in years. With DK trending upwards and Gen.G dropping, they could overtake them in the standings. Both of Gen.G’s losses came at their home ground, making matters worse.

The Block is Gone
Dplus KIA could not get one over Gen.G Esports for a long time. Chovy kept getting the better of ShowMaker in the past few years. After defeating them in the LCK earlier this year, they have now started their own streak. DK has won three series in a row against Gen.G Esports. DK’s win sees them move closer to the top four. They are only two wins away from T1, who sit in first following HLE’s loss to KT. With DK playing against T1 next week, they can shorten the gap between first and fifth. Any team can finish in the top four of Legend Group.
