LCK 2026 Regular Season Day 39: DK’s Victory Moves Them Forward
Dplus KIA was desperate to beat FearX in their LCK series. The victory would all but guarantee them a spot in the Legend Group. With HANJIN BRION needing to beat T1, Gen.G Esports, and Hanwha Life Esports, that seemed impossible. HLE keeps their lead at the top, with three teams trailing. All they need is one series victory next week to finish first in the LCK standings.
Dplus KIA Versus FearX

Game One – Winning Through Solo Lanes
The early game started rocky for DK. Their Caitlyn Karma lane was struggling to build a lead and even died 2v2. It went from bad to worse after they lost a fight around the Drake. They steadied the ship on the Rift Herald teamfight. Lucid stole the objective. In turn, he used it to stay alive and catch the BFX bot lane. Siwoo and ShowMaker dominated in the side lane. The latter’s solo kill on VicLa earned DK the Baron. Lucid full sent an engagement on the Baron push, and it paid off in the long run.
Game Two – DK Winning Through Bot Lane
Taeyoon and Kellin get early pressure in the bot lane. They call Raptor over for a dive, but Lucid shows up in time. The dive fails as DK kills all three members. Lucid helps increase the lead with another dive, while Raptor targets Siwoo. The teams trade the next two fights. BFX wins the Grubs fight, while DK wins the Drake fight. Smash overextends in the mid lane, and that is the turning point for the game. BFX takes Baron and gets control over the game. They have a couple of shaky moments, but they continue to build the lead. BFX’s second Baron of the game sets them up for a push to end the game.
Game Three – Defending Against Global Ultimates
Siwoo has a difficult time in game three. He has to play Jayce into Yorick, with two Global ultimates on the enemy team. His death count is relatively low, all things considered, but he is still behind. DK is either ahead in gold or even, despite Siwoo’s deficit. Most of that is because of an early skirmish victory on the bot side of the map. ShowMaker becomes the pivotal player on DK.
BFX finds a pick on Lucid and thinks they have a chance to take the Baron. However, the rest of the DK contest and their damage becomes too much for BFX to bear. With Raptor dead, ShowMaker gets the final hit. DK cleans up the BFX members and ends the game.

Nongshim Redforce Versus Hanwha Life Esports

Game One – Winning Through Bot Lane
Diable dies early, but that does not change how he approaches the laning phase. He plays on the edge, and most of the time it works out. Zeka roams on two occasions to help out. The first, he narrowly misses the kill on Diable as he dies to the tower. On the second, Diable lives long enough for reinforcements to arrive. HLE falls behind and can never recover with their composition. Kanavi has one Drake steal, but it merely delays the inevitable. With Mountain Soul, NS pushes for the end.
Game Two – An Absolute Bloodbath
The game starts to run away from NS after a failed early invasion for Kanavi’s Raptors. With both mid and support dying, they fall behind in the game. Both teams choose to fight to the death on numerous occasions. Overall, HLE emerges ahead. It is not clean from HLE as they often get engaged first. Kanavi has multiple deaths as the game goes on. NS can barely get through Zeus’ health bar, even if they kill other HLE members. Even when down, members of HLE are willing to take the fight. If NS had not fallen far behind early, they could have had a chance in this game.
Game Three – HLE Storm Ahead
Kanavi plays a pivotal part in HLE’s early-game success. However, before he can impact the game, NS butchers their bot lane dive. Gumayusi dies, but they lose two members in trade. NS gets put behind everywhere on the map, with their only lead being on Scout. The mid-game is not clean for HLE as multiple members die in unnecessary positions, starting with Kanavi’s death. They steady the ship with NS taking their turn to give away kills. The rest of the game is bloody, but ultimately it turns out in favor of HLE.

DK All But Sealing Legend Group Status
DK’s victory over BFX has put them in a prime position to finish in the top 5 of the LCK Round 1-2. They sit with their wins more than HANJIN BRION, who must play T1, Gen.G Esports, and HLE in their final matches of the LCK Round 2. BFX is still in the hunt for the final Road to MSI spot, but they find themselves in the LCK Rise Group.
The Bluffing Test Failed
Bluffing started the LCK series for HLE, for his second consecutive start. However, it went badly for him and the rest of the team as they crumbled in game one. While he was not the sole reason for their loss, he did not look great. Delight subbed in for the rest of the LCK series, and HLE looked better. They still had their moments, and it was not a clean series victory by any means.
