LCK 2026 Regular Season Week 3: More Struggles for T1 and Gen.G Esports

LCK 2026 Regular Season Log

During the initial season press conference, everyone but Gen.G Esports predicted Gen.G to win the LCK. Gen.G picked T1. That has been a regular occurrence in past seasons. So far, neither team has looked in form to win the LCK. Those honours go to KT Rolster and Hanwha Life Esports so far. Since losing to T1, HLE has won five series in a row, only dropping one map.

One Talking Point for each LCK Team

KT Rolster – When Will They Lose?

KT has gone another week without dropping a series. While a win versus DK might not seem that important, DK has beaten T1 and Gen.G recently. KT qualified for the Road to MSI last time with ten series victories. They are four away from reaching that number after three weeks.

Hanwha Life Esports – The Aggression Pays Off

Many criticized HLE and Kanavi, especially for their over-aggression during the LCK Cup. Kanavi’s playstyle has not changed since. The difference now is that the rest of HLE is on the same page. They have found their unique style and are running away with victories.

Nongshim Redforce – What is Going On?

Getting a read on which NS team will show up each week is becoming increasingly impossible. After a disappointing week two, they recovered to go 2-0. If they have another tumultuous week next week, they might become the most unpredictable team in the LCK.

Gen.G Esports – Did G2 Really Break Them?

Throughout the entire 2025 LCK Regular Season, Gen.G lost only one series. Now in 2026, they have lost three out of six matches. Their dominance over the LCK has waned. The drama with Ruler may be affecting the team’s performance, but it is impossible to guarantee.

T1 – Keria Back in Form

At his best, Keria is unplayable. He shapes matches and is a pivotal piece to the T1 puzzle. He single-handedly won the early game for T1 against DK. Their coordination is still lacking, and that has cost them in the series. With Keria in top form, non-top LCK teams may struggle to contest with T1.

Dplus KIA – Another Impressive Victory

For the first week in a while, DK were impressive. They narrowly lost to KT, who look unbeatable at the moment. Their recovery against T1 was something we have not seen from this roster before. Usually, when their backs are against the wall versus good teams, they crumble.

FearX – Clear Might Be The Piece They Need

Clear’s form has been lower since BFX went to First Stand. This week was the first time he performed at his best. He had multiple solo kills against Rich and was pivotal in game two. BFX has yet to reach their LCK Cup heights, but now might be the time to return to the peak.

KRX – Another Difficult Week

KRX had to deal with two difficult matches this week. With BFX recovering some form, they should struggle to compete with them. The same applies to T1. T1 might not be at their best, but they have shown they are better than most of the LCK.

HANJIN BRION – Competitive Performance

BRO remained competitive throughout their match against NS. However, the main reason was NS’s mistakes. They were nowhere near GenG’s level in their series. They led for a few minutes in the early game, but that was all they could muster.

DN SOOPers – A Dramatic Fall

DNS was a surprise package in the LCK Cup. They became a dark horse and finished in fifth place in the playoffs. Since returning to the LCK, they are not the same team. They are showing signs of the DN Freecs from last year. They barely competed with KT and HLE in their series this week.
