The Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage has two days left. Three teams are out. After today’s action, two more teams will join them. Team Liquid fights for their lives again, this time against LOS. G2 Esports has a mountain to climb against the MSI Champions. They have beaten the LCK before. The two winners will play again tomorrow for a chance to qualify for the Bracket Stage.

The best-of-one series are done. The rest of Worlds 2026 will be either best-of-three or best-of-five series. There are two series today. The first starts at 10:00 AM PT (6:00 PM CET). The second will take place shortly after the first’s conclusion. The current schedule is:

  • Team Liquid Versus LOS
    • 1:00 PM PT (9:00 PM CET)
  • Hanwha Life Esports Versus G2 Esports
    • 4:00 PM PT (12:00 AM CET, October 31st)

Team Liquid Versus LOS

Featured Matchup

Yeon Versus Duduhh

Yeon stepped up against Anyone’s Legend. He was the difference-maker TL needed. His maintaining that form is pivotal to their success. As a result, Duduhh must step up. He is a prospect. If he can keep up with Yeon, LOS can upset the LCS team. A dominant performance for the young AD Carry could propel his career. LOS must be wary of Yeon’s comfort with Lucian, Kalista, and Xayah.

Predictions

Team Liquid 2-0 LOS

TL lacked confidence in their opening matches. They rebuilt that confidence by defeating the LPL first seed. That should give them all they need to beat the CBLOL roster. LOS is no stranger to being the underdog. They fought their way to the CBLOL championship as a Guest team. Days before Worlds started, they had to retain their spot. TL can not afford to underestimate them. Individually, LOS can match up to TL. Zest showed his supreme mechanics against Team Secret Whales. Unless TL gets caught off guard again, they should stay alive in the tournament.

Featured Matchup

Kanavi Versus SkewMond

SkewMond almost single-handedly carried G2 to their only victory. He is the only G2 player who reached his peak at Worlds. HLE’s only victory was a snowball win over Top Esports. Kanavi played a part in the win. However, he has been out of sorts in the other matches. The meta shift prevented him from making aggressive plays. If SkewMond can keep an eye on Kanavi, G2 will have a chance. He has to allow his laners to play in isolation. He did it earlier this year against Oner and Canyon. The last time the teams met, Kanavi dominated the jungle matchup.

Predictions

Hanwha Life Esports 2-1 G2 Esports

Neither team wants to be here. Both struggled to reach their peak at Worlds 2026. All of HLE’s matches have been against teams already qualified for the Bracket Stage. With some time off, both teams can go back to the drawing board. Neither team found comfort in their drafts.

The additional prep time should help. G2 has a winning record against the LCK this year. They have lost two best-of-three or longer series to an LCK team. Dplus KIA beat them 2-0 at EWC, and HLE won 3-0 at MSI. The latter series was not close. HLE ran away with the victory. Stylistically, HLE has the advantage. If Caps can not reach his peak form, Zeka might run riot in the series.
