No team has beaten T1 in the Worlds Quarterfinals. Karmine Corp had a chance to change that at Worlds 2026. They failed. The Blue Wall struggled to get going in the series. Eventually, they found their confidence. However, it was not enough to beat the defending World Champions. T1 advanced to the semi-finals to face a familiar foe, Bilibili Gaming.
Worlds 2026: Series Summary

KC had a disastrous start to the series. They picked a mid-game-centric composition in game one. They needed to build early leads. However, they were not aggressive enough, and T1 ran away with their scaling draft. Game two was the opposite. KC lost the game over a Scuttle Crab. The game continued, but they never recovered. They woke up in game three. They went back to their bread and butter: a scaling 5v5 team composition. They executed well and won the important fight. Game four was a shock back to reality as Peyz and Keria took over once more.
Player Ratings

T1
Doran – 4.8
- Ornn (6), Olaf (5), Jayce (4), Camille (4)
After a dominant performance against Movistar KOI, Doran was quiet in this series. His Ornn and Olaf did the job. Everyone will remember the Jayce Flash into KC. His death gave KC the Ocean Soul. The Camille was not much better. He took a bad trade, which allowed Canna and Yike to dive him. He had some good engages, but nearly cost T1 their Soul.
Oner – 5.8
- Jarvan IV (6), Trundle (6), Sejuani (5), Nocturne (6)
Oner had a weak series by his standards. Some of his deaths were unnecessary. He engaged too soon on occasion. He had a good Trundle game until he died in KC’s jungle. The Sejuani was difficult to navigate. The draft gave few options to follow his engages.
Faker – 6.5
- Viktor (8), Cassiopeia (6), Taliyah (4), Annie (8)
Faker was almost flawless on Viktor and Annie. He had perfect laning phases on both, and his teamfight prowess shone. The Cassiopeia and Taliyah were less inspiring. He had two errant Flashes and multiple unnecessary deaths in game two. Faker was the setup as Taliyah, a task that proved too difficult. No one saw the ult Flash into a wall.
Peyz – 7.5 (Total Apex Player of the Series)
- Yunara (8), Kai’Sa (7), Zeri (6), Miss Fortune (9)
Peyz has arrived at Worlds. He had a quiet Swiss Stage by his standards. That is now gone. He shone throughout the series. Everything but Zeri was lights out. Granted, he almost carried the Elder fight, killing both Busio and Caliste before falling. We lost count of the times Peyz lived fights without using Summoner Spells defensively.
Keria – 7.0
- Lulu (7), Nautilus (7), Yuumi (6), Neeko (8)
Keria had two quiet games mixed with two games he controlled. It is almost impossible to control the game as Lulu and Yuumi. However, once given proactivity, he dominated. Keria Neeko continues to be a thorn in players’ sides. His laning phase is excellent, and he knows the perfect teamfight angles. That Pop Blossom while KC chased was incredible.
Karmine Corp
Canna – 5.8
- Rumble (6), Ambessa (6), K’Sante (6), Renekton (5)
Canna was consistent throughout the series. He was the only player pushing his advantage in game one. While he had a couple of deaths as K’Sante, he gave his life for his team to secure objectives. He had another lead in game four. But he failed to find the angle on Peyz to shut him down.
Yike – 5.5
- Lee Sin (3), Pantheon (6), Xin Zhao (7), Wukong (6)
Yike had to drive the early game as Lee Sin. He failed, and as a result, KC fumbled the first game. He found his footing for the rest of the series. He kept them in game two and had crucial teamfights in game three. His Wukong engages were good, but never enough to catch Peyz.
Kyeahoo – 5.5
- Syndra (4), Orianna (4), Anivia (8), Ahri (6)
Kyeahoo almost single-handedly carried KC as Anivia. His presence made it impossible for T1 to contest objectives. Every time they approached, he zoned them. He was quiet for most of the series. But he did matchup to Faker throughout.
Caliste – 5.0
- Ezreal (5), Tristana (3), Ashe (7), Xayah (5)
The Tristana game brings Caliste’s rating down. He struggled on the champion. T1 set up traps for him, and they all worked. He was excellent as Ashe. He never positioned too close. He had multiple game-defining arrows. His arrow on Faker gave them the Elder. No one saw the Ezreal ult.
Busio – 4.0
- Leona (3), Rell (4), Seraphine (6), Rakan (3)
A day to forget for Busio on engage champions. His engages always felt rushed. There was no clear target. That made it difficult for his team to focus on key targets. He was better on Seraphine. He took his team and never forced plays. He succumbed to the pressure of playing against Keria.
