Karmine Corp made their first Worlds appearance this year. They qualified for the Worlds 2026 Bracket Stage after starting in the Play-Ins. Their reward? Playing against the back-to-back-to-back defending World champions, T1. It has been four years since T1 lost a best-of-five series at Worlds. Can KC achieve the impossible? Will they prevent the 4-peat this early in the competition?
Worlds 2026: Player Head-to-Head

Top Lane – Doran Versus Canna
The last time T1 missed the Worlds Grand Finals, Canna was their top laner. He has had a relatively quiet Worlds so far. Being quiet against Doran is usually not enough. While he rarely dominates lane, you have to put him behind. He will always contribute in teamfights. He has also been in domestic form recently. He was excellent against Movistar KOI. With T1 willing to give him a counter-pick in the draft, Canna will need to step up to ensure Doran stays quiet.
Jungle – Oner Versus Yike
Oner is one player KC can target. The early game hinges on him. Many teams have put him behind both internationally and domestically. It has almost always paid off. Doran and Faker have weaker-than-average laning phases. That means Oner always needs to cover for them or get his bot lane ahead. Yike has a mammoth task. But he has never shied away before.
Mid Lane – Faker Versus Kyeahoo
Using domestic form never matters for Faker at Worlds. He always levels up. His laning phase is stronger; he squeezes every resource he can. He still has one death in lane. He usually dies while trying to push a wave. Giving anyone an advantage over Faker at Worlds feels like a mistake. And for Kyeahoo, he must be at his best to challenge the GOAT.
Bot Lane – Peyz Versus Caliste (Featured Matchup)
Peyz has been the best AD Carry this year. However, his form has dropped recently. He is still one of the best, but he is making more mistakes than usual. That leaves room for Caliste to shine. The French AD Carry has made his own mistakes at Worlds. He needs to perform at his best to challenge Peyz.
Support – Keria Versus Busio
Keria at his best is unbeatable. No support can reach his peak. He has been a vital player for T1 so far. His Rakan caught Doggo in their nail-biting win over CFO. No matter what you do to stop him, Keria will always find a way. Busio has faced Keria numerous times; he knows beating him is nearly impossible. But that does not mean he will not give it his all.
Predictions

T1 3-1 Karmine Corp
The two teams have met twice this year. They met at the MSI Play-Ins. KC led in all three games. But one errant teamfight in each, and the game crumbled. That has plagued them at Worlds. They led against LYON, but fumbled the late game. Making those mistakes will be punishing. KC did win the second matchup at EWC. T1 has not lost a Worlds Bo5 since 2022. They are the back-to-back defending champions. Everything is stacked in their favor. A win for the Blue Wall will be a monumental achievement. Playing scared will not help them. They have to fight back and make sure they test them.
Bilibili Gaming Awaits
Bilibili Gaming defeated Dplus KIA 3-0 yesterday. After a weak beginning, they are ramping up. Either team will want a strong result. They need to build confidence heading into a monumental matchup. The Blue Wall wants further revenge for their MSI loss. The defending champions want to cement themselves as a top team. They want to continue their journey towards a 4-peat.
