MVK Esports deny FURIA the revenge victory at Worlds 2026. In the second consecutive series, they dominated the CBLOL second seed. FURIA had some bite back in game three. Stylistically, they could not figure out how to beat the LCP third seed. They will face Karmine Corp for the final Swiss Stage spot. FURIA end their year with four game wins on the international stage.
Worlds 2026: Series Summary

MVK proved Day One was not a fluke. They came out fighting once again. FURIA did not have the answers. Instead of copying Karmine Corp’s formula, they got sucked into the fighting. They at least won one game. The draft had an impact. MVK drafted a heavy poke composition. They had no proactivity. Ayu got ahead early and took over. He had a 6k gold lead on his opponent. It went back to normal, with Harky and SiuLoong crushing the bot lane. They used that lead to take Tatu out of the game. There were a couple of throws, but FURIA threw back.
Player Ratings

MVK Esports
Kratos – 6.0
- Zaahen (8), Gnar (6), K’Sante (4), Olaf (6)
Kratos demolished Guigo in game one. He solo-killed him twice in the laning phase. His impact was felt less in the rest of the series. He did his job on Gnar and Olaf. The K’Sante game was not his fault. He had to play frontline for a poke composition that fell behind.
Gury – 6.8 (Total Apex Player of the Series)
- Jarvan IV (7), Vi (6), Jayce (6), Wukong (8)
Gury had another excellent performance. He had one task in this series. Shut Tatu down. He executed that win condition. Even on Jayce, he contributed. He kept landing poke to pressure FURIA.
Chika – 5.5
- Cassiopeia (6), Kog’Maw (7), Mel (4), Ryze (6)
Chika had another inspiring Kog’Maw performance. The laning phase was shaky, but he delivered in the mid-to-late game. The poke was relentless. He did not seem confident on Mel and overchased as Ryze.
Harky – 5.5
- Ezreal (5), Jhin (8), Ziggs (3), Corki (6)
Harky and Chika were excellent as a duo in game two. Harky followed Chika’s poke with a perfect Deadly Flourish. That prevented their escape. The Ziggs was rough, missing skill shots and dying in bad spots.
SiuLoong – 5.8
- Lulu (6), Bard (6), Leona (4), Shen (7)
SiuLoong set Harky up for success in the final game. He found the Taunt Flash, giving him a double kill. That set the game in motion. The Leona was shaky. It was not his comfort zone.
FURIA
Guigo – 4.0
- Camille (3), Ambessa (3), Rumble (5), Jax (5)
Guigo ended the tournament how he started. He got an early kill on Jax. But unfortunately, he could not translate that into a victory for his team. There were more silly moments, dying twice to Kratos in game one and not executing well as Ambessa.
Tatu – 3.8
- Sejuani (3), Nasus (3), Skarner (7), Pantheon (2)
For the second series in a row, Gury had Tatu’s number. He never looked comfortable. He wanted to match MVK’s tempo. However, you cannot fight a team on their comfort when it is not your style.
Tutsz – 4.8
- Syndra (5), Viktor (5), Twisted Fate (5), Taliyah (4)
Tutsz was a victim in the first two games. He was solid, but his team collapsed around him. In the one positive FURIA game, he struggled. He mispositioned a couple of times in fights. That meant they did not have the guaranteed Twisted Fate stun.
Ayu – 5.3
- Lucian (4), Xayah (5), Miss Fortune (9), Sivir (3)
Ayu was excellent on Miss Fortune. He led early and ran away with the game. He held it together despite taking endless poke from Gury and Harky. Then the opposite happened in game four. He died early and made mistakes. That gave MVK the lead to end the series.
JoJo – 4.5
- Milio (4), Rakan (3), Seraphine (8), Alistar (3)
JoJo held the line alongside Ayu in game three. He was the setup for FURIA. He had numerous Encores and stuns that led to kills. Unfortunately, the rest of the series was uninspiring.
