The Worlds 2026 Upper Bracket Finals rematch is here. MVK Esports continue to surprise. They have earned another shot at Karmine Corp. The previous meeting ended in disappointment for the Vietnamese roster. KC are the clear favorites, but can MVK throw a wrench in the plans? They did it twice to FURIA and have nothing left to lose. Expect them to go all out in the rematch.

Expecting More of the Same

KC read on their opponents’ playstyle. They knew they needed to get into the mid-game in a good spot. Giving MVK a gold lead is a death sentence. FURIA suffered that fate in both series. Harky noted that he felt they should have played more against in the Upper Bracket Final. With Gury likely staying in the lineup, they will be at full strength. Do they have something in the bag to beat the LEC third seed?

Top Lane – Canna Versus Kratos

Canna did not perform at his peak in the previous series. Even then, he kept Kratos quiet. The matchup should be the same in the rematch.

Jungle – Yike Versus Gury (Featured Matchup)

We only saw Gury face Yike once in the series. SanSan took his spot. The rookie played well, but not up to Yike’s level. Gury might have that leverage if he gets a full series. He has been excellent so far, and not seeing him will be a big disappointment.

Mid Lane – Kyeahoo Versus Chika

Chika continues to play unique champions. He has played Kog’Maw in every series so far. Expect that to come out again. Kog’Maw is fringe enough that he should not get banned. Kyeahoo will have the laning advantage, but Chika can contribute in the late game.

Bot Lane – Caliste Versus Harky

Caliste dominated the bot lane last time. Given MVK’s playstyle, they want to play through pushing lanes. Harky is key to that. He always clicks forward at the start of lane. If Caliste matches that aggression, Harky will not create an advantage.

Support – Busio Versus SiuLoong

SiuLoong has shown he can tussle with the best supports. However, he lacks consistency. To beat Busio, you must play consistently. Busio has not been on top form, especially on Nautilus. However, he should have the advantage in the matchup.

Predictions

Karmine Corp 3-0 MVK Esports

Last time, we gave MVK a game victory. However, they lost 3-0 in the first meeting. That should be the case again. The biggest strength is their side lanes. They leverage pushing the side lanes. Gury leverages the push by invading the enemy jungler. The side lanes do not fall over easily. Canna is solid, while Caliste and Busio challenge on every wave. Without that pressure, Gury can not safely invade. If he does, the rest of the team will collapse and kill him. The one game MVK lost to FURIA was when they could not leverage their lanes.

If they play smart and reserved, they win this series every time. The moment they get sucked into the madness, they will lose. MVK thrives in the chaos. The LEC third seed prefers slow macro games where they can dominate teamfights. The two styles clash, and KC has the upper hand.

The Swiss Stage Awaits

One victory stands in their way. They are competing for the final Swiss Stage spot. The Swiss Stage draw will take place after the series concludes. The series winner will start in Pool 4. They will face Pool 1 teams. If Karmine Corp advance, they can not face G2 Esports in the first round.
