It’s Tuesday and time for your daily devotional. When you walk with God, you can live with an expectation for miracles. Some believe miracles are only in the Bible, such as the parting of the Red Sea, the three Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace, and Jesus feeding the multitudes. In today’s daily devotional, God continues to perform miracles.
God Can Do All Things
In Numbers 14:22, God speaks of His glory and miracles. In Deuteronomy, Moses reminds Israel of God’s great miracles and power. Jesus was empowered by God, as John records His first miracle in Cana of Galilee, where He began to manifest His glory. Throughout Jesus’ ministry, He performed miracles because God was with Him. In your daily devotional, Jesus affirms in Matthew 19:26 that “with God all things are possible”; therefore, you can expect to receive miracles.
Stand Still and See
A miracle is an occurrence that can’t be explained by scientific or natural laws; therefore, it’s considered to be by divine power. If you’ve been a human being for any length of time, you’ve realized your abilities are limited. However, when you walk with God, you discover His power is unlimited.
When things looked impossible at the Red Sea, Moses told the children of Israel to stand still and see God’s salvation. Then something that hadn’t been done happened before their eyes. In this daily devotional, you may not need the Red Sea to open, but God can open anything closed that hinders you from being everything He’s called you to be.
His Words Don’t Return Void
When you walk with God, you’re not just a natural being; you’ve been birthed into the supernatural. You’ve been born again, or translated from a natural state that held you in bondage by the power of sin. But you’re now born again and know that Jesus broke that stronghold. You now walk in God’s power, knowing that He is the God of miracles.
In Genesis, we first see God performing miracles by creating light from darkness with His words. In your daily devotional, Isaiah 55:11 declares that God’s words don’t return void, but they accomplish and prosper wherever He sends them.
Miracles Were His Signature
Jesus, the Son of God, began His ministry by demonstrating the miraculous. Starting at Cana, His miracles became a signature of His ministry. He healed all manner of sickness and disease; He walked on water and calmed raging storms. He raised the dead, cast out devils, and fed multitudes with a small amount of food. None of these things had ever been done by another human being.
Miracles identified Jesus as Diety. In Acts 2:26, Peter confirms to Israel that Jesus was a “man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs.” In this daily devotional, you are in Christ, which means you have access to miracles when you need them.
Miracles Happen Today
Faith teacher Kenneth E. Hagin was born with a deformed heart. As his condition worsened, he became bedridden, and every doctor who examined him said he was going to die. Yet he believed Mark 11:22-23, which instructs you to believe God’s Word and receive by faith. He believed the Word and was completely healed, and his doctors declared it a miracle.
Don’t Let Miracles Pass You By
In today’s daily devotional, believe God for the miraculous, for the Miracle Worker still performs wonders. Faith Pioneer, Oral Roberts said, “Every day, miracles are either coming to you or going past you.” In today’s daily devotional, don’t let miracles pass you by; believe and receive them by faith.
