Bravo set the “Small Town Trouble: Texas” premiere for Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, kicking off the reality series with a two-hour episode. New episodes air Wednesdays on Bravo and stream the next day on Peacock.
The series follows a group of wives, mothers and social insiders, along with their husbands and partners, in Boerne, Texas (pronounced “Bur-nee”), a Hill Country town about 30 miles northwest of San Antonio. Bravo pitches the show as a collision between conservative small-town values and forbidden attraction, complicated friendships and buried secrets.
Bravo released the trailer Oct. 22, along with the cast and premiere date. The network first announced the show in May at NBCUniversal’s upfront presentation under the working title “Secrets, Lies, Texas Wives.”
What the Trailer Reveals
The trailer wastes no time poking holes in Boerne’s wholesome image. McAnelly warns viewers they may need to flip their perception of a small town “upside down.” From there, the footage teases unconventional relationship arrangements, religious tension and friendships pushed to the brink.
Meet the Cast
The five women at the center of the show are Aaryn Williams, Alli McAnelly, Annari Uys, Gabby Hernandez Huffman and Hailey Head. Husbands Nick Williams, Blake McAnelly, Duan Uys and Jordan Huffman also appear, along with Head’s longtime partner, Josh Marsalis.
Each woman brings a distinct backstory, according to Bravo’s official cast bios. Williams, a former “Big Brother” contestant turned content creator, was publicly outed as bisexual. She now homeschools her four daughters with Nick and says she’s focused on owning her past mistakes.
McAnelly, a third-generation local and the self-appointed “Queen of Boerne,” is stepping back from her career to spend more time with her three children.
Uys left an ultra-religious upbringing in apartheid-era South Africa and is raising three sons with Duan while embracing what she calls the “Big Defrost.”
Hernandez Huffman, a San Antonio native raised as a preacher’s daughter, is working through her evangelical past. She met her husband on a sugar-dating site, and the arrangement eventually led to marriage. The couple is raising a young daughter.
Head and Marsalis have two children together but aren’t married, a choice the trailer suggests will come up this season.

Why Fans Care
“Small Town Trouble: Texas” brings Bravo’s reality formula to a conservative small town, pairing multigenerational local ties with personal reinvention stories. Boerne residents have already voiced mixed feelings about the spotlight since the show’s May announcement, so the real-life reaction may be as interesting as the on-screen drama.
What’s Next
Catch the two-hour premiere Nov. 18 on Bravo, or stream it on Peacock the following day. New episodes roll out weekly from there.
