As always, PlayStation loves to update its PlayStation Plus game catalogue to keep players happy and to highlight new games every month. PlayStation Plus offers three different membership plans: Essential, Extra, and Premium. Having a membership offers many benefits, including access to hundreds of classic and new games, limited-time trials, online multiplayer, and member-exclusive discounts. Here’s a list of leaked games in the updated PlayStation Plus game catalogue for May.

  • Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered (PS5, PS4 gets Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition)

Horizon Zero Dawn is the award-winning action RPG that follows Aloy on a quest to discover the mysteries of a future Earth ruled by machines. The game is getting remastered and will be released in next month’s games catalogue.

  • The Crew Motorfest (PS4, PS5)

This racing video game by Ubisoft is also being released in May’s catalogue. Right now, PlayStation is offering a free trial for the game, which currently sells for $69.99; however, the game is expected to become free once it’s part of the Plus catalogue next month.

  • Football Manager 26 Console (PS5)

Football Manager 26 is the soccer management simulation developed by Sports Interactive and Sega, and it is also joining the lineup of games on May’s catalogue. If you’re subscribed to Plus Premium, you can access the game’s free 10-hour trial right now; otherwise, you’ll be paying $39.99 for the game.

  • Warriors: Abyss (PS4, PS5)

Warriors: Abyss is a rogue-like action game that was released last February. This rogue-like focuses on hero summoning, where you can unlock different characters based on real historical figures, and use them to fight your way out of hell.

An interesting aspect of the game lets you build teams with every hero, so there’s no shortage of combos you can execute to keep you interested in playing. It’s available to play on PlayStation for $24.99, but it will be free next month, once it joins May’s catalogue.

  • Squirrel With a Gun (PS5)

Squirrel With a Gun is an odd game, and it’s been available to play on PlayStation for a couple of years now. The game is exactly as you would expect it to be: a lot of hilariously nonsensical fun that follows a squirrel with a gun… It sells for $19.99 (which is a little diabolical); however, according to leaks, it’ll be joining May’s catalogue.

  • The Casting of Frank Stone (PS5)

This is one of my favorites on this list. The Casting of Frank Stone is the first single-player, cinematic narrative spin-off set within the Dead by Daylight universe, and I was so pleasantly surprised by the game when it released in 2024. It’s exciting that this game will be joining several other games in the PlayStation Plus May games catalogue.

  • Monster Train (PS5)

Monster Train is a rogue-like deck-building game that takes strategy and offensive gameplay to the next level (literally). Set on a train to hell, every battle you fight takes you to the next level up, so if you’re at all interested in starting your deck-building journey, you can play it for free next month, if you’re a PlayStation Plus member, of course.

Premium

  • Wild Arms 4 (PS4, PS5)

Wild Arms 4 is the newest game to join the lineup of games releasing in May’s PlayStation Plus catalogue. This 20-year-old action JRPG will be making its return to PS4 and PS5 in next month’s catalogue. Wild Arms 4 has been largely criticized for its storyline and major bugs in the North American and European versions of the game; however, with the game releasing on PlayStation Plus, fans of the franchise should be excited to see the classic game on modern consoles.
