Is Cordelia dead? American Horror Story season 13 left that question open when James Patrick March attacked the witches of Miss Robichaux’s Academy in episode 6. Spoilers follow.

In “The Return of Devil’s Night,” Cordelia Goode (Sarah Paulson) holds a séance to contact her mother, Fiona. After the spirit board spells out “HERE,” she sends her students upstairs, TVLine reported. March and a group of ghostly killers arrive instead.

Is Cordelia dead after the AHS 13 attack?

The group includes Jeffrey Dahmer, played by Seth Gabel, TheWrap reported. TVLine said March fatally wounds Cordelia with his scythe, and the episode ends with her bleeding on the academy floor.

So is Cordelia dead for good? The show has not confirmed her death is permanent. TVLine guessed she will spend time in limbo, enough for a reunion with Fiona, and then rise again. TheWrap also noted that her death may not stick, given the series’ history with resurrections.

What is next for season 13

New episodes of American Horror Story season 13 arrive Thursdays on FX and Hulu. The season premiered Sept. 24 and drew more than 4 million global views in its first four days, according to TheWrap.
