At the start of the year, HANJIN BRION’s roster changed. They took a gamble, and it paid off. They have re-signed that roster for 2027. For periods, HANJIN BRION’s roster challenged the best teams. They fell right before the Playoffs, losing 3-2 to FearX. The team also reached their first international tournament this year. They announced earlier today that the entire 2026 roster will return for 2027.
The 2026 HANJIN BRION Roster

- Shin “Casting” Min-Jae
- Kim “GIDEON” Min-seong
- Cho “Roamer” Woo-jin
- Lee “Pungyeon” Jong-hyuk
- Park “Teddy” Jin-seong
- Namgung “Namgung” Seong-hoon
HANJIN BRION’s roster started the year with Lee “Loki” Sang-min alongside Roamer in the mid lane. He then left to rejoin Cloud9. Pungyeon joined the roster after Loki’s exit. However, he did not appear for the team during the LCK season. He is not part of the re-signing yet.
HANJIN BRION’s Roster Year in Review
The year did not start well for HANJIN BRION’s Roster. They went 0-5 in the LCK Cup Group Stage. They were the second team knocked out of the competition in the Play-Ins, losing to KRX. If Group Baron lost, BRO would have been eliminated instead of Hanwha Life Esports. Over time, the roster improved. Towards the end of Rounds 1-2, BRO’s performance skyrocketed. After narrowly losing to T1 on their home ground, they won 5 consecutive series. They went unbeaten at this time. KRX stopped their momentum.
After a shaky Rounds 3-4, they finished 1st in the Rise Group. They could not get past KT Rolster or FearX in the Play-Ins. Both series went to game five. Their year did not end.
BRO qualified for the Demacia Cup. They were the first LCK team to lose a series in the tournament. Team WE defeated them 2-1 in a qualification series. They needed one more series to reach the Bracket Stage. After beating LGD Gaming 3-1 in the Quarterfinals, they lost the rematch against Team WE. They almost recovered from a 2-0 deficit. But they fell at the final hurdle. That loss ended their year. They had a semi-successful year.
What to Expect Next Year for HANJIN BRION’s Roster

The rate of improvement was impressive. Casting stood out. He was behind PerfecT for 2025. He made a couple of appearances in 2025. However, he did not make a significant impact. 2026 was his breakout year. He was the best top laner outside of the top five. You could even argue that he was better than PerfecT and Siwoo at various points in the year. Namgung also made his debut this year. He improved gradually throughout the year.
More experience and more time together should help this roster. However, breaking into the top five is difficult. The five Legend Group teams are dominant powerhouses. KT missed out on Worlds this year. Even then, they would need to get past FearX. They defeated them in the Play-Ins and won the Demacia Cup.
Predicting where they will fall is too early. Rosters will change next year. There are already rumours. Many expect Deft to return next year. He might be joining Nongshim Redforce next year. That leaves Diable without a team.
Firstly, BRO needs to become more consistent. If they get that consistency, they will be a force to be reckoned with. Securing a top-five finish is difficult. If they secure a guaranteed top six, that would be an improvement. The LCK is the most competitive league. They showed that with their dominance over the Demacia Cup.
