LCK 2026 Playoffs KT Rolster Versus Dplus KIA Review: DK Earn Revenge and a Worlds Spot
KT Rolster already beat Dplus KIA in the LCK Playoffs. They won 3-0 in Round 1, sending DK to the Lower Bracket. After losing to Gen.G Esports, they fell to the Lower Bracket to meet DK again. DK looked for revenge to earn the final World Championship spot. They earned their revenge with a mostly dominant 3-1 victory. They join Gen.G, HLE and T1 at Worlds. They will face T1 in the next round of the LCK Playoffs.
LCK 2026: KT Start Where They Left Off
Smash and Career had a torrid time in the bot lane. Jiwoo forced Smash to back at level 1, and Career died. KT’s bot lane kept the pressure up until a skirmish around the Drake. The skirmish was a 2-for-2 trade.
PerfecT saved the second Drake fight. He teleported in to provide the frontline and damage for KT. KT started to run the map with two consecutive plays on Siwoo.
Picks from KT defined the mid-game. Career was the victim on most occasions. DK struggled to wrestle control of the map.
After kills on Smash and Career, KT moved to the Baron. The rest of the DK members tried to contest. KT prevented them from getting close to the pit. KT ended the game with the first Baron push.
LCK 2026: ShowMaker’s Shockwave Finds Jiwoo
DK got off to a better start in game two. Smash picked off first blood this time. DK leveraged their bot lane lead throughout the early game. KT looked to overload lanes. They decided they would lose in neutral lanes. Both teams got gold on their carries.
DK started stacking Drakes after Lucid stole the third Drake. Siwoo also picked up two kills in the fight. After a rough early game, he came online. KT stalled the game out for the three item spikes on Bdd and Jiwoo. The plan worked as they rebuffed a DK engage. After KT’s Baron, only one outer Tower was alive on the map.
The game was played on a knife’s edge. Lucid died in the Cloud Soul fight. KT looked to take advantage, but Bdd died. DK pushed KT away from the Drake and took the Soul.
Smash goes for the heroic play in the mid lane. He loses Guardian Angel and dies. Fortunately, PerfecT dies as well. KT moves to the Baron, but Lucid wins the smite battle again. Siwoo dies right before the Elder Drake. But KT can not face check. It goes to another 5v5 fight. The teams trade ultimates until ShowMaker Shockwaves Jiwoo. Jiwoo uses his Armguard, but DK envelops the rest of KT and wins the game.
LCK 2026: One Fight Snowballs the Game
DK got an early lead despite the first-blood kill on ShowMaker. The first 5v5 fight decided the game. All the solo laners teleported to the bot lane with the second Drake up. Everyone on KT dies in a trade for Career and ShowMaker.
Cuzz steals the third Drake. But he gives up his life and flash for the objective. DK moves towards the Baron. They turn off to kill KT on the face check. Jiwoo and Bdd die. Cuzz returns to contest the Baron but dies for a second time. DK chips away at KT and their base before ending the game.
LCK 2026: DK In Control for a Worlds Spot
Lucid’s early invade fails as he dies for first blood. Shortly after, Jiwoo and Smash trade their lives in the bot lane. With no Flash on Jiwoo, DK punishes Jiwoo and Effort, giving Smash two kills.
The first fight starts well for KT. They kill ShowMaker and the Drake. In the extended play, DK fights back for a 2-for-2 trade. Most importantly, everyone on KT loses their flash.
DK continues the map pressure. They break all three tier-one towers and earn two more kills. The lead grows to 7k.
KT finds their first positive fight of the game. DK push the top lane, and KT go for the fight. DK is not in a good position, and KT earns four kills for none. DK remains ahead despite the fight loss. DK curbs KT’s momentum. They win the Drake fight, with only Smash dying. DK takes the Baron and regains their advantage. KT can not hold against the onslaught. DK book their ticket to the World Championship.
