LCK 2026 Playoffs Dplus KIA Versus FearX Review: DK Recover to Keep the Worlds Dream Alive
Dplus KIA or FearX needed two series wins to qualify for the World Championship. It is the final LCK spot at the international event. BFX looked primed to take the final spot after two games. However, for the second series in a row, they lost in five games. It was also the second day in a row that a team got reverse-swept in the LCK. DK will face KT Rolster in the next round of the LCK playoffs.
LCK 2026: Winning Through Bot Lane
Taeyoon and Kellin pressured DK’s bot lane to force both of Smash’s Summoner Spells. Raptor utilized that opportunity to help Taeyoon earn first blood. BFX looked to play around their fed AD Carry.
DK took a fight after the Grubs. It went in their favor, with kills going to Lucid and ShowMaker. The game became DK’s topside versus BFX’s bot lane.
The gold stayed relatively close throughout the game. The highest lead a team accrued was 2k. However, that was rare. BFX led on Drakes, forcing DK to contest.
With no control over the Drake, DK targeted VicLa. He died, and DK could contest the Drake fight. They killed Raptor and stalled the Hextech Soul.
After killing Smash, BFX were primed to take the Hextech Soul. They overchased, allowing Lucid to catch VicLa. The teams met for a 4v4 on the Soul. Lucid stepped up once more to catch Taeyoon. DK denied the Soul again.
One pick from BFX on ShowMaker gave them the Baron. That Baron gave them positional advantage on the Soul again. After a long standoff, BFX won the final fight and ended the game.
LCK 2026: Clear’s Counterpick Shuts Down Siwoo
Raptor’s early gank secured a kill on Siwoo. Siwoo could not lane because of the Kai’Sa counterpick. DK created their win condition with a dive on BFX’s bot lane. It did not get better for Siwoo. BFX ensured he stayed behind.
The game stayed close until the 22nd minute. BFX caught Lucid and Career, opening up the Baron. Before BFX could increase their lead, they overextended in the Drake fight, and the gold shrank.
BFX got their second Baron after winning a 5v4 fight in the mid lane. Lucid and Smash died during the siege. That gives BFX the confidence to try to end the game. However, Kellin’s Tempered Fate helped DK, and they defended.
The third Baron ended the game. VicLa caught ShowMaker, which allowed BFX to take the objective. On the next siege, BFX killed the nexus.
LCK 2026: Trading Blows Until the End
DK built early leads through lane advantages. With only 2 kills in 12 minutes, they had a 3k gold lead. The first significant fight happened at the second Drake. DK won it comfortably.
Raptor only got his first stack on Cho’Gath at 17 minutes. Within minutes of each other, DK’s solo lanes died. Shortly after that, BFX used their player advantage to kill Lucid and Smash in mid lane.
Next time it was DK’s turn to pick off a BFX member. Raptor died at the same time as Siwoo in bot lane. With only two BFX members to contest, DK secured the Baron. BFX punished DK’s siege with a flank teleport from VicLa.
Siwoo and Raptor died on the Chemtech Soul spawn. BFX tried to contest, but they lost the fight and the game.
LCK 2026: A Quick Recovery Into End
Raptor died at 40 seconds to DK’s invade. He navigated the early clear and then helped VicLa kill ShowMaker. Lucid continued his aggression in BFX’s jungle. ShowMaker and VicLa collapsed. Raptor picked up both kills and recovered the deficit.
Taeyoon looked for a fight in the mid lane with DK’s bot lane. It was a mistake. His death led to Kellin, Raptor, and VicLa dying as well. DK extended their lead through better macro.
DK earned an ace in the Soul point fight, which gave them the Baron. DK won another fight in BFX’s jungle, and they ended the game.
LCK 2026: Siwoo’s Counter Pick Carries DK
There was some early action. DK got ahead thanks to Siwoo’s solo kill on Clear. He continued to build a lead in isolation. The teams traded kills, but DK stayed ahead.
DK won the first 5v5 fight of the game. BFX thought they had Siwoo, but he lived long enough. The rest of DK collapsed. Their lead grew to 7k.
Two more fights were all DK needed to end the series. The first game gave them the Baron, while the second ended the game.
