Poppy Playtime Chapter 5 – All 3 of Lily Lovebraids Friends Locations Full Guide

Poppy Playtime was released last week, and guide makers are hard at work creating step-by-step walkthroughs of the many difficult puzzles players will encounter in the game. One such puzzle is finding all of Lily Lovebraids’ friends after being kidnapped by her. To escape, you’ll need to find her friends scattered throughout her dollhouse. Here’s a full guide to finding Lily Lovebraids three friends: Baby, Dolly Grub, and Dusky in Poppy Playtime Chapter 5.

All Locations to Find Lily Lovebraids’ Friends Full Guide

Finding Baby

The first friend of Lily Lovebraid you’ll want to locate is Baby. Baby can be found on the upper floor in the music room, where they are stuck inside a horn. If you go around the back, you can activate the horn with the Pressure Hand. Charge up your Pressure Hand, and Baby will pop out of the horn and into the inside of the piano. You’ll have to open the piano by pressing the keys in the correct pattern. You can find the pattern on a bookshelf, where a note reveals the four keys you’ll need to press.

Finding Dolly Grub

The next friend you need to find is Dolly Grub, who can be found upstairs in the dollhouse. You’ll need to use your magnetic upgrade to get up there. When you get to the second floor, there will be two wall panels you can rotate by interacting with the yellow star handles on the wall. The first panel will have a fire panel, and the second will reveal a secret bathroom, where you’ll find Dolly Grub trapped inside the bathtub. To free Dolly Grub, use your Conductive Hand to set the braided bow on fire.

Finding Dusky

The last friend you’ll need to find is Dusty. Dusty will be trapped in the garage of Lily’s dollhouse, inside a parked toy car. Look to the wall behind the car, which folds down and can be rotated by interacting with the yellow star handles. Tug on the wall, and the electricity source will be revealed. You’ll have to find two batteries to turn on the power source, and these batteries can be found in the hidden room behind the foldable wall.

The first battery can simply be found in the boot of the car, which you can open simply by lifting up the door handle. The second battery is harder to find. There was a revolving door that you saw Lily Lovebraid go through, and if you spin it around yourself, there will be a small cabinet. Inside is a broken vent that you can destroy, and that’s where you’ll find the second battery. When you turn on the power source after inserting each battery, it will power the car and roll the windows down, letting you retrieve Dusky.

When you’ve collected all of Lily Lovebraids friewnds you need to take them to the table where Lily is hosting a tea party and set each of them down on a chair as guests. This tea party will come back to haunt us later when the Prototype is revealed to have been Lily’s special guest.

Poppy Playtime Chapter 5 is Out Now

Poppy Playtime Chapter 5 has been an absolute blast to play. It’s definitely the longest and most difficult chapter in the series, given how intricate the puzzles are and how much backtracking you have to do to complete them; however, it made the game so much more interesting and fun. Poppy Playtime Chapter 5 is available to play now only on Steam, but we should be getting console ports later on this year.
