The new Disney+ Vidio bundle puts Marvel, “Star Wars” and Korean dramas in the same Indonesian subscription as Premier League and UEFA Champions League soccer. Disney+ and Vidio, Indonesia’s leading streamer, announced the deal Thursday, Oct. 1, Disney’s first partnership with the platform, according to Variety and The Hollywood Reporter.

Called the “Vidio Ultimate Disney+ All Screen Bundle,” the package pairs Disney+ Standard with Vidio Ultimate All Screen. Subscribers get Disney’s films, franchises and Asia-Pacific originals, plus ESPN programming on Disney+, including live coverage, documentaries and studio shows. On the Vidio side, they get its exclusive series, live TV and a sports lineup that also includes Indonesia’s BRI Super League, Variety reported.

What the Disney+ Vidio bundle includes

Disney+ titles in the package include 20th Century Studios’ “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” Lucasfilm’s “Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu” and Marvel Studios’ “Deadpool & Wolverine,” per Variety. FX’s “Shōgun” and “The Bear” are also included, along with Korean series “Moving” and “A Shop for Killers.” “The Remarried Empress” and “Merry Berry Love” are still to come.

Vidio says it has produced more than 110 original series, THR reported. The platform also carries more than 70 global and national sports competitions, including Wimbledon, Formula 1 and MotoGP, according to Variety.

‘Taste of Disney+’ sampler for all Vidio subscribers

All Vidio users with an active subscription, not just bundle buyers, will be able to sample Disney+ through a “Taste of Disney+” collection on Vidio, both outlets reported. It offers select episodes of the Korean original “Flex X Cop” season 2, crime comedy “High Potential,” the animated “Sofia the First” and medical drama “Grey’s Anatomy.” The selection will rotate and is meant to nudge viewers toward the full bundle.

The deal could also work in reverse. The companies are developing an arrangement to bring a curated selection of Vidio originals and sinetron, Indonesia’s TV soap operas, to Disney+ subscribers, though details are still under discussion and no timing was given, according to THR and Variety.

Price and target audience

The partners did not disclose pricing for the Disney+ Vidio bundle or the deal’s financial terms, THR reported.

The Disney+ Vidio bundle is aimed at households. Vidio’s own t-Survey 2025 found that 77 percent of its connected TV audience watches together in groups of at least three family members, Variety reported. That helps explain why the package leans on both big franchises and live soccer.

Disney’s growing Asia-Pacific playbook

The Disney+ Vidio bundle is the latest in Disney’s string of regional streaming partnerships. According to Variety, Disney+ joined Korean streamers TVING and Wavve in a three-way subscription bundle in 2025 and carries SPOTV’s MLB coverage in South Korea this season. Malaysian broadcaster Astro widened its Disney+ distribution deal in July and agreed to supply local films such as “Ola Bola” and “Polis Evo.” In Japan, Disney+ has been bundled with Hulu Japan since 2023, and TBS’s international studio The Seven signed a multiyear deal in April to co-develop live-action dramas for the service.

Disney also plans to roughly triple Disney+’s yearly output of international original series over the next three years, from about 60 to 70 shows this year, THR reported. Asia-Pacific is central to that push, building on Korean hits such as “Perfect Crown” and the fortune-telling competition “Battle of Fates.”

“By bringing Disney+’s beloved films and award-winning series together with Vidio’s local entertainment ecosystem, we’re elevating the streaming experience for fans and new audiences,” said Tony Zameczkowski, Disney’s senior vice president and general manager of direct-to-consumer for Asia-Pacific.

Vidio CEO Sutanto Hartono said the partnership combines “two complementary entertainment experiences into one of Indonesia’s most complete premium entertainment offerings,” per THR. Research from consultancy Media Partners Asia has ranked Vidio first among Indonesia’s streaming platforms for viewership over the past four years, according to THR.
