The Ram 1500 Rumble Bee sold out its base-model allocation in 90 minutes after orders opened, and every truck through March 2027 was spoken for within 24 hours, according to Carscoops. The performance pickup, powered by a 5.7-liter Hemi V8, is the entry point to Ram’s new Rumble Bee family.

Ram 1500 Rumble Bee Demand and What It Signals

The quick sellout points to strong appetite for full-size performance trucks with traditional V8 engines, even as the industry leans toward smaller, hybrid and electric powertrains. Ram CEO Matt VanDyke said the speed of the sellout “speaks volumes about the passion” customers have for performance trucks, per Carscoops. The report also noted that the Hemi V8’s return earlier generated more than 10,000 orders in 24 hours.

Ram has described the Rumble Bee as a daring product, since street-focused trucks have been a tough sell historically. This sellout suggests the bet is paying off at the base level, at least for now. Motor1 called the base truck an instant sales hit.

Specs and Pricing for the Ram 1500 Rumble Bee

The base truck uses a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 that makes 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. It skips the eTorque mild-hybrid system and stop-start technology found on other Ram V8s and pairs the engine with an eight-speed automatic and four-wheel drive. Carscoops lists a 0-60 mph time of 6.1 seconds and a quarter-mile run of 14.6 seconds at 93 mph.

Pricing is where the reports differ slightly. Carscoops’ sellout report lists a starting price of $59,995, while its earlier pricing report gives $62,790 for the base model. The difference may reflect a destination charge, though the reports reviewed do not say so, so check the final window sticker with a dealer.

Where the Rumble Bee Fits in Ram’s Lineup

The Rumble Bee comes in three tiers: the base Hemi model, a 392 version and a supercharged SRT. According to Carscoops’ pricing report, the 392 adds a 6.4-liter Hemi making 470 horsepower and starts at $72,790, while the SRT uses a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 rated at 777 horsepower and starts at $97,790. That report said the SRT undercuts the Ram TRX by $5,000.

Performance climbs quickly up the ladder. The 392 makes 455 pound-feet of torque and is listed at 5.2 seconds to 60 mph, and a 392 Track Pack at $82,790 adds a body kit, air suspension and Brembo brakes. The SRT makes 680 pound-feet, runs to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds and reaches a 170 mph top speed, per Carscoops. The entire Ram 1500 Rumble Bee lineup uses a Quad Cab body. The base model is due to arrive in late 2026, while the 392 and SRT versions are expected in the first half of 2027.

What Buyers Who Missed Out Can Do

Buyers who missed the initial ordering window will need to wait for future allocations or consider the 392 or SRT versions when they become available. The practical step for shoppers is to ask local Ram dealers about the next order window, because current Ram 1500 Rumble Bee orders are full through March 2027. Ram’s parent company, Stellantis, is also working to improve reliability, as covered in our report on the Stellantis quality fix involving 2,000 engineers.
