Pam Levine has left Netflix after about 18 months as vice president of marketing and publicity for the United States and Canada, Variety reported Oct. 5. Her departure follows a career promoting films and television for four major entertainment companies.
Pam Levine’s work across four entertainment brands
At Netflix, Levine supervised publicity and marketing for films and series in the two countries. She joined in April 2025 and reported to Chief Marketing Officer Marian Lee, Variety reported. The outlet did not give a reason for her departure or identify a replacement.
Before that, Levine led marketing for Disney Branded Television and National Geographic Content. Her remit covered brand strategy, publicity, social media, events and awards campaigns. Disney’s 2022 communications announcement described her team’s responsibility for promoting National Geographic programming.
At 20th Century Fox Film, she oversaw worldwide theatrical marketing. Variety listed “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Deadpool 2” and “The Greatest Showman” among her campaigns. At HBO, she served as chief marketing officer, with responsibilities including strategy, digital marketing, licensing and merchandising for HBO and Cinemax.
The departure concerns marketing leadership
The report establishes a personnel change, rather than an announced change to Netflix’s programming or subscription plans. Our coverage of Netflix’s October releases and its Disney licensing deal tracks separate developments at the streamer.
