Naruto has officially unveiled the Pain Noir Edge figure, a darker take on the villain’s Akatsuki design. According to the official Naruto website, the collectible reimagines the Deva Path with monochrome colors and shadowy contrast, preserving only violet accents on his iconic Rinnegan eyes and keeping his coat and fingernails in color.
The new Pain Noir Edge figure
The figure stands 9.1 inches tall and features Pain in an “imposing pose fitting for the leader of the Akatsuki,” per the official description. The sculpting meticulously recreates details from his facial rods and hand piercings to the wrinkles in his coat. The “Monochrome x Accent Color” design philosophy gives the character “a one-of-a-kind presence despite being a static statue,” according to CBR.
This Pain figure is paired with Konan, the Akatsuki’s only female member and a founding member alongside him. Her figure retains color on her nails, coat and eyes while using the same monochrome treatment elsewhere.
Release details and availability
The Pain figure will debut as a Crane Game prize exclusively in Japanese arcades and amusement centers, though international fans can pre-order from third-party retailers like BigBadToyStore for $28.99. Both Pain and Konan figures are set to release in February 2027.
This marks the third wave of the Noir Edge Akatsuki collection, which also includes redesigned versions of Tobi, whose signature orange spiral mask has turned monochrome but keeps his red Sharingan accent, and Zetsu, whose cloak and foot nails retain their original colors. Bandai Spirits has now released nine figures from the Akatsuki through the Noir Edge series, with only two remaining. The Pain Noir Edge figure is part of the third wave of the Akatsuki collection.
What’s next
The figure announcement comes ahead of a major Naruto panel scheduled for New York Comic Con on Oct. 10, coinciding with the character’s canonical birthday. Bandai Spirits is expected to announce a new anime series, potential animated film project, and global launch details for the Naruto Card Game in 2027.
