The sheriff’s office said deputies responded to a Raceland residence after a call at 6:15 p.m. and found Urker dead on arrival, according to TMZ. The office said it is continuing the death investigation. No cause of death has been released.

TMZ reported that Blanchard had texted Urker a happy birthday message and got no reply. Some headlines gave his age as 33, but the sheriff’s statement, as quoted by TMZ and Newsweek, listed him as 34.

Urker and Blanchard were first engaged while she was in prison, then split and reconnected in April 2024, according to Oxygen and other reports.
