Jimmy Barnes will lead the 2027 Red Hot Summer Tour, headlining an Australian lineup across eight outdoor concerts. The run begins Jan. 9 and ends March 6, with general ticket sales opening Oct. 9 at noon local time, according to Billboard.
Jon Stevens, Birds of Tokyo, Eskimo Joe, Baby Animals and Chocolate Starfish join the bill. Sarah McLeod will also perform with drummer Mick Skelton, giving the tour a lineup drawn from several generations of Australian rock.
Jimmy Barnes leads an eight-date summer run

Australian rock milestones on the bill
Barnes has accumulated 22 No. 1 albums on the ARIA chart, more than any other Australian act, Billboard reported. His 21st solo studio album, “Defiant,” returned him to the top spot in June 2025.
He has also entered the ARIA Hall of Fame twice: first with Cold Chisel and later as a solo performer. Those two parts of his career form the background to his place at the top of the new tour’s bill.
Baby Animals are marking 35 years since their eight-times-platinum, self-titled debut, while Eskimo Joe are approaching three decades together. Stevens will perform his Noiseworks and INXS Collection, drawing on songs including “Take Me Back,” “Touch,” “New Sensation” and “Never Tear Us Apart.”
Ticket sales open Oct. 9
Telstra and promoter presales precede the general release. Tickets for all eight stops become available Oct. 9 at noon local time. Fans can follow our music coverage and artist news for related announcements.
