MSI 2026 Team Preview: FURIA Looking To Shock the World
FURIA qualified for their second consecutive MSI. They started last year’s edition in the Play-Ins and nearly took down G2 Esports and GAM Esports. However, they fell in game five in both series. FURIA will start this year in the Bracket Stage, looking to prove their worth. After dominating the Americas Cup earlier this year, FURIA will look to shock the world one more time.
FURIA’s Roster

- Brazilian Top Laner – Guilherme “Guigo” Ruiz
- Brazilian Jungler – Pedro “Tatu” Seixas
- Brazilian Mid Laner – Arthur “Tutsz” Peixoto Machado
- Brazilian Bot Laner – Andrey “Ayu” Saraiva
- Brazilian Support – Gabriel “Jojo” Dzelme de Oliveira
FURIA has kept the same roster for the past two years. It is the same five players who nearly defeated G2 Esports at the last MSI. FURIA struggled after MSI last year, finishing outside the top four in Split 3 and third in the CBLOL Cup earlier this year. They returned to dominance, taking over the Americas Cup and finishing first in the Spring Split.
FURIA Looking to Do Damage
FURIA turned heads at the last MSI. They came into the tournament as the likely worst team. While they finished tenth, they were not far off from winning a series. Both G2 Esports and GAM Esports needed five games to take down the Brazilian team. The roster, once again, showed its prowess and took over the America’s Cup. They won all three series. They did not drop a single map while defeating Cloud9 in two separate series.
FURIA is the epitome of the Brazilian League of Legends. They will bring flair to all their series, both in and out of the game. Unlike other Brazilian teams of the past, FURIA have the macro to back up their flair. They have a clear identity. They want to play around Tutsz lane as much as possible. Both Tatu and Jojo will find timers to be around the mid lane. They allow Tutsz to play aggressively and dominate his lane opponents. That, in turn, allows Tatu to take over the map.
Key Player – Pedro “Tatu” Seixas

Champions Played in Spring 2026

Tatu embodies the Brazilian spirit. He will start hyping his team up after a play. He will try to get the crowd hyped up with his celebrations after a won teamfight. On top of that, he is also the driving force behind FURIA’s success. While Tutsz is the flashiest player on the roster, Tatu is the spearhead. He has the potential to take over the rift, both with his mechanics and map movements. Tatu also has a wide champion pool, looking to bring out eclectic picks to win drafts for his team.
He looks to punish the enemy Jungler at every turn. He will have his work cut out for him at MSI. We could see him face off against Seo “Kanavi” Jin-hyeok. Kanavi is another Jungler who wants to suffocate his opponents. These two will compete for dominance of the rift. On the other hand, he might face Inspired, who looks to dominate through clever pathing and avoiding the enemy Jungler as much as possible.
FURIA’s Expectations
The MSI Bracket is a difficult one for a team like FURIA to navigate. Every team at the tournament is a force to be reckoned with. A meeting with Hanwha Life Esports or LYON is daunting. FURIA can take LYON down, but Hanwha Life Esports may be a step too far. They will not have much reprieve as they will face a potential top-four team in the Lower Bracket should they lose their first match. FURIA can surprise, but the draw might have to be on their side to win a series.
The Draw Decides Their Fate
FURIA, as the only CBLOL representative, will start in the Bracket Stage. They will face either Hanwha Life Esports or LYON in the first round. If they want a chance at progressing, LYON is the better matchup for FURIA. After that series, their performance and the draw will decide who they will meet in the rest of the tournament.
