PlayStation Plus June Lineup Delivers Massive Deals and Corporate Plot Twists for Days of Play Landing May 27, 2026
Sony announced the next batch of PlayStation Plus titles arriving next week, offering a varied lineup for subscribers. The upcoming PlayStation Plus June selection offers an absolute masterpiece of variety, blending tiny backyard survival, cartoon violence, and dark sci-fi misery. It also happens to feature a massive guest star from the green side of the corporate fence. Grab your controllers, because things are about to get weirdly cooperative.
An Xbox Game Leads the PlayStation Plus June Handouts
The biggest surprise of the PlayStation Plus roster is undeniably Grounded Fully Yoked Edition, a fantastic backyard survival game developed by Obsidian Entertainment. If that studio name sets off alarms, it is because they are wholly owned by Microsoft, making this a spectacular piece of corporate cross-pollination. The game is essentially the classic film “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids” reimagined as an incredibly stressful fight for survival against ordinary yard pests.
You play as an intrepid young adventurer shrunken down to the size of an ant, forced to explore a massive garden environment from an entirely new perspective. You can brave the towering blades of grass alone or team up with up to three friends in online multiplayer to gather resources, construct shelters, and craft weapons. It left early access on Xbox and PC in late 2022, but Microsoft loosened its iron grip on first-party exclusivity to let it hit PlayStation consoles in April 2024.
Rumors suggest the new Xbox leadership is currently reassessing that multi-platform strategy, so make sure to claim this ironic artifact before the corporate drawbridge pulls back up.

If being terrorized by a spider the size of a minivan does not sound like a relaxing evening, the PlayStation Plus update provides two completely different flavors of digital chaos, starting with Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2. It’s a fast-paced platform fighter that lets you settle internet debates by beating up childhood cartoon icons, featuring an upgraded roster that lets you duke it out with massive names: SpongeBob SquarePants, Squidward Tentacles, Jimmy Neutron, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. You can play solo across a unique, roguelike player campaign or jump online to master powerful new Supers against your friends.
On the complete opposite end of the tonal spectrum sits Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, an incredibly brutal four-player cooperative shooter built for the PS5. Crafted by the award-winning development team behind the Vermintide series, this game throws you directly into the industrial meat grinder of the hive city of Tertium. It builds on the stellar melee combat of Vermintide 2 but infuses intense, heavy sci-fi gunplay into the formula.
You will genuinely feel the mechanical weight of each swing of a chainsword and every single flesh-frying blast of a lasgun as your squad fights off bloodthirsty hordes. All three standard June games will be available beginning Tuesday, June 2, 2026, and players will have until Monday, July 6, 2026, to add them to their libraries. This means you only have until that June 2, 2026, deadline to snag May’s departing titles, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers and Nine Sols.
Extended Soccer Rotations and Big Digital Store Discounts
EA Sports FC 26 is also sticking around longer than usual, remaining claimable until June 16, 2026, with members able to pick up a PlayStation Plus Icons Pack as a bonus during the extended window. The virtual soccer pitch is getting a massive update on June 4, 2026, that adds an international tournament mode featuring 48 national teams. The extension could be due to a massive real-world FIFA tournament happening June 11, 2026, through June 19, 2026, which may be an attempt to stir up some major hype.
The annual Days of Play sale also kicks off on May 27 and runs through June 10, 2026, bringing massive discounts on software and hardware. In a separate promotion, retailers have rolled out notable hardware discounts, including $100 off the PlayStation VR2, $50 off the Pulse Explorer earbuds, $40 off the Pulse Elite headset, and $30 off the DualSense Edge controller. Massive titles like Ghost of Yōtei, Helldivers 2, Death Stranding 2, and The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered are also getting marked down on the PlayStation Store.
If you want a discount on an annual subscription, however, Sony is only offering up to 33% off to brand new subscribers or those upgrading to Premium, leaving loyal, renewing members completely out in the cold.
