Mimesis: Logistics Center – Sudden Death With 4 Friends and Maximized Difficulty

The Early Access game Mimesis released a new gameplay mode on Sept. 18, 2026, that requires a dedicated group to progress. Logistics Center came with an unexpected difficulty increase and very few directions on how to proceed. It is currently on sale on Steam for $6.99 USD until Sept. 25, 2026, so if the game has been sitting in the wishlist, now is a great time to give it a try.

After being granted a tester key to test the new mode myself, here are a few tidbits that may make getting to day 4 a bit less stressful. I spent around 6 hours trying out the new game mode, and it might be a hidden gem of potential chaotic fun.

Shipping Logistics Center Begins

Day 1 of working the MIMESIS Logistics Center is like a beginner’s guide where players learn through trial and error. Players must collect all the shipping boxes, toilet lids, and cardboard planes and organize them based on the items’ intended destination. They will want to track how these items are labeled; each location has its own color-coded stamp somewhere on the item, and this helps make things more efficient.

Throughout Day 1, the items going on the tram may be contaminated. All 4 players can enter the shower to the right of the tram while holding a contaminated item to cleanse both the players and the item for $40, returning the item’s value and maximizing profit for the day. It is recommended that all players use the decontamination shower at the same time on the cardboard planes ($23) and the shipping boxes ($26), but not the toilet seats.

Day 1 Advice

My best advice, aside from tracking the color-coded stamps that correlate to their destination, is to stack and pile things near the tram for fast loading and offloading. For optimization, two friends organize the offloaded items, and two can load things onto the tram to maximize profits, especially if everything gets done early for the early delivery bonus.

Sometimes the items must be picked up and moved up or down so another player can identify the stamp color. Staying on the tram after it is set to depart can also cost the team, so be quick and try not to block friends on the tram! Losing $50 because someone got stuck is never fun, but if multiple teammates get taken away, the unauthorized absences will be deducted accordingly.

After the end of Day 1, upgrades and boosts can be bought with your newly obtained wealth. If any players died, funds might be tight because replacements are needed, and that comes out of the day’s pay. While the scanner might sound useful, the key item before starting Day 2 will be gas for the tram. If the team can afford it, a freight contract upgrade or valuables handling permit can net bigger paydays.

The Nightmare Commences

If funds are limited at the beginning of Day 2, fuel for the tram should be the only purchase, because the team will need some leftover to cleanse contamination from both items and players. Organizing everything before starting Day 2 can lead to success, along with locating the stamp in a timely fashion between trams. With the colored stamps and gas in hand, Day 2 is a breeze, and Day 3 will bring new stress.

After 2 days of only 3 locations, a 4th comes in on Day 3: the Office, so now we have 4 different colors to keep track of! Yellow stamps are headed for the Factory, green stamps are traveling to the Subway, while purple stamps head out to the Mansion, and the Office packages are stamped in a cool, crisp blue. Be on the lookout for a possible fifth friend no one invited to the party.

If you make it to Day 4 of the Logistics Center, congratulations! You’ve made it as far as I did, but sadly the contamination, MIMESIS running rampant, and getting run over by the tram made around 6 hours’ worth of Logistics Center come to a screeching halt. Day 4 felt like the difficulty level got hiked so high that you couldn’t comprehend what was happening throughout the chaos!

Overall Impression of MIMESIS Logistics Center Mode

After reading the channel about the Logistics Center mode in the MIMESIS Discord, I have to agree that it gets fast-paced too quickly. The maintenance requirements could be better explained, and those who don’t pay attention might miss the correlation between the stamp and its destination color. Having only 35 to 40 seconds to find the stamp on packages and determine where it goes can result in frustration.

The frustration may not be intentional, but the sudden spike in difficulty on Day 4, combined with limited explanation of the maintenance mechanics, has left many players feeling discouraged. Despite those issues, I believe ReLU has a strong concept with the introduction of the Logistics Center. It is definitely a unique and challenging mode added to the amusing horror co-op game MIMESIS started almost a year ago.
