Subnautica 2 Processor is Essential For Advanced Ingot Crafting

Subnautica 2 has finally resurfaced for early access, and divers are already halfway through the game! As your guide through its beauty and complexity, I’m here to help you collect manuals, assemble guides, and craft essential implements like ingots and “whatsits” glore. To get your wrinkled, reprinted hands on those “whosits”, you’ll need to build a processor, so let’s jump in together.

The device isn’t readily available in your base, and as your guide, I recommend you dive deep to find one in the underwater constructs. So, grab your scan, bring plenty of drinkable water (that your body can digest), and get that lung capacity up to snuff! We’re going in together!

Quaker Base Has The Blueprints

As you progress through Subnautica 2’s main missions, a quest called Quaker’s Signal will pop up. The mission destination is an underwater base located north of your Lifepod, labeled “Quaker Blackbox,” or Quaker Base. Swim straight ahead, passing multiple large orange clusters and a massive purple creature that looks like a mushroom. For those who prefer numerical distance, it’s about 48 to 50 meters away from your Lifepod.

When you reach the base, the structure is split into two buildings, one containing the Old Habitat and the other containing the machine. Swim underneath that building and through the hole in its floor. The room containing a broken version of the device will be through the corresponding door. (Now, there is another way into the base located behind the building, but I chose this one because it’ll get ya to it more quickly.)

The machine will be sitting next to a hatch across the room. All you have to do is scan it, and the blueprints will download into the database. Now, head back to your Lifepod and start whipping up a brand spanking new processor.

Ingredients To Make the Instrument

To construct the machine, you’ll need to gather minerals and have a fully functional fabricator. The fabricator is going to make a few pieces for the blueprint. Below is the checklist of the needed ingredients to produce it:

  • 2 Titanium Ore
  • 1 Mild Acid (Fabricator)
    • Fabricate using 2 Acidic Raion Pouches and 1 Copper Ore
  • 1 Copperwire (Fabricator)
    • Fabricate using 2 Copper Ores

Making Ingots!!!

Once the processor is laid out and constructed, you will be able to create ingots to your heart’s content. Make sure you have plenty of solar panels because the instrument consumes A LOT of power! When you have it up and running, you can cannonball into crafting advanced tech, tools, and base construction. May the crafting ever be in your favor, by fellow divers!
