Run BTS Toronto episodes: Epic pickleball fun starts Oct. 6
BTS will release two new episodes of its variety series “Run BTS!” filmed in Toronto, with the first set for Oct. 6 at 8 p.m. KST and the second on Oct. 11, Billboard reported. A teaser for the Run BTS Toronto episodes shows the seven members at a picnic, playing childhood games and squaring off in a pickleball tournament.
The episodes will stream on the group’s BANGTANTV YouTube channel and on Weverse, GMA News reported. For U.S. fans, 8 p.m. KST on Oct. 6 is 7 a.m. EDT that day.
What the Run BTS Toronto teaser shows
The preview opens on a BTS-style picnic, where the members return to games they used to play at past outings, according to Billboard. They start with “speed walk” and move on to “red light, green light.”
Jung Kook provides the first big laugh. “Why are you so fast?” he says while running, then takes a spill as the others crack up, Billboard reported.
The real contest in the Run BTS Toronto teaser is pickleball. The members learn that whoever loses the tournament faces a penalty, and the clip cuts between shouting, cheering and rallies across the court before fading to a “Run BTS 2.0” title card.
Where ‘Run BTS!’ stands now
The self-produced show debuted in 2015 and went on a long hiatus before returning in April as “Run BTS! 2.0,” ending a three-year break, GMA News reported. Before the pause, the series had produced 155 episodes and drawn 140 million cumulative views, according to SBS.
The revival came after all seven members, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook, finished their mandatory military service and regrouped for the album “ARIRANG,” according to GMA News. While the group was apart, Jin hosted his own spin-off, “Run Jin,” which ended in May 2025, the outlet reported.
The Run BTS Toronto episodes are the latest chapter of that revival. Billboard has not said how many more episodes are planned after Oct. 11.
BTS’ busy 2026
The new episodes arrive as BTS has just wrapped the North American leg of its ARIRANG World Tour, with the South American leg coming soon, Billboard reported. The group also performed at the iHeartRadio Music Festival at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Sept. 18, according to Billboard.
The group’s album “ARIRANG” became its seventh No. 1 on the Billboard 200 when it was released in April and has spent 27 weeks on the chart, according to Billboard. Total Apex covered the album’s takeover of the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 at the time. Earlier this year, Netflix released the trailer for its BTS documentary “BTS: THE RETURN.”
